"Alchemy oozes from the speakers in sonic vibrations sending the crowd into ecstatic movement. Swimming through a sea of people, anything is possible. I leave behind the fake life to discover something deeper and untold. Thought ceases as I reach a point of pure action. There is only this moment; a point of interconnectedness emanating from the deepest recesses of the cosmos. Beauty unfolds in flowering lights that steal my breath and I discover that life is real.
The festival is more than just a party, it is a way of life. It is place for people to open up and become aware that there is something more than just the material plane. The art at a festival is a catalyst that reaches inside the audience and stirs something deep with in that was put to sleep by the plastic existence constantly silencing the subtle energies. This art has the ability to teach an aware way of life, a way of life that understands that we are actually one cosmic family. It taps us back into those subtle energies that guide existence and tunes us to a deeper level of cellular knowledge. A festival has the potential to change the world by changing the world within.
The festival is a community gathering that frees people to express themselves authentically. It has the power to change lives. The art is the catalyst for these experiences. Art brings you the opportunity to experience yourself. When observing a piece of art it draws upon our emotions and has the potential to uncork all of that baggage that we keep behind our walls. It starts to make us ask questions. What does it mean? Where does it come from? Where is it going? It is these questions and their lack of a definable answer that stimulates our quest for something greater then ourselves. To create is the ultimate experience a human can have. An artist to drawing from the deep well of inspiration and bringing forth authentic expression is what keeps the world alive. When an observer experiences this kind of authentic expression they are brought along the journey with the artist. The energy that the artist put into the work is transferred to the observer and the observer is liberated just as the artist is liberated. It is through these moments of liberation that we start to fathom the true depth of our cosmic selves.
The festival is place for community to spontaneously arise on its own accord. People from all over come to co create an experience like none other. Community arises out of the connections between people who have never met but are on a mission to change the world. You can make more connections at a single festival than some make in an entire year. The gathering becomes a celebration of life. Everyone becomes your brother, your sister. People see the potential to co exist in harmony. A festival becomes a microcosm of existence. It becomes a home away from home and teaches the festival goers how to be themselves without fear. Walls are destroyed as people open themselves up and learn that human interaction is beautiful, mysterious and full of delight. That openness has the potential to stick with the people as they travel back into the fake world where everything is a commodity. It is through this openness and connection with the human family that the world will transform itself into a blossoming flower of divine love.
It is at the festival that people can step out of the false reality of mindless consumption and start to experience something real. It is a place of transformation through art and community. It provides a place for authentic expression that uplifts the people from their daily lives, sending them on a journey to discover their true selves. It is a place where knowledge is coalesced and given out to whoever is open and willing. It becomes a breeding ground for a new culture that exists in harmony with all the cosmos. The world is ours for the making."
