Got to say I love this forum, I'm here today offering and donating my web service. Iv been a web developer, graphic designer and branding master for over 10 years now. I created more than 200 sites including ecommerce all the way to online communities.

Hey, thanks a lot for your kind words, they really mean a lot coming from professional colleague. I'm so glad you like the site!  I hope you don't mind me responding publicly since I'd like to encourage all interested parties to respond via PM.
Your offer is very timely since we are currently understaffed and actively seeking new developers. For the right person, it could be a pretty cool gig:
- If you like the site anyway, you'd have a way to directly improve it and implement changes people want, which can be very satisfying.
- You would be allowed (and expected) to manage yourself, and decide what projects to pursue on your own. Each admin is his own boss.
- You can set your own hours and take vacations whenever you want.
- You can experiment with new technologies and use the job as an opportunity to learn new skills.
- You can work from home in your pajamas while taking bong rips, and we fully approve.
However, this may not be a particularly enticing offer for everyone:
- Our hourly rate is not very competitive, especially given the skill requirements for the position.
- On top of that, we have a fairly modest monthly payroll budget, which limits the total amount you can earn no matter how much you're willing to work.
- Our site is full of ugly spaghetti code which makes it very unpleasant to maintain.
- Because of our drug-related content, you might not want to use your work here in your portfolio or on your resume.
Anyway if it still sounds like something you might be interested in, please shoot me a PM and tell me a little more about yourself and the projects you've worked on. Here are some questions to serve as conversation starters.  I appreciate brevity, so please don't feel you need to spend a whole lot time on this. You don't even have to answer all of them, I just want to get a basic sense of your abilities. We can always ask for clarification later.
- Have you ever run your own business? How did it work out?
- Do you have more experience working on solo projects, or collaborating with a team?
- Do you have experience dealing directly with end-users of your software? Tell me your worst horror story and how you handled it.
- What programming/scripting languages do you know, and how proficient are you in each one? Are there any third-party frameworks or libraries that you use frequently in the course of your work?
- What are some of your favorite sites that help keep you informed about advances in the field of web development and technology in general?
- Are there any websites which you particularly admire from a technical standpoint? (Shroomery doesn't count.)
- Do you have a favorite Linux distribution for a server? If so, which one, and why do you like it?
- Do you use a revision control system to manage your code? If so, which one, and why did you choose it?
- How busy is the largest site you've worked on? Any cool stories about how you optimized performance?
- What are three common security mistakes that you think everyone should be aware of before working on a public-facing web application?
- How would you rewrite this query to only return users who don't have an e-mail address saved in the emails table?

- If you view the source of a thread, can you write a Perl-compatible regular expression which matches and captures the user names and numbers of everyone who posted?
- Can you write a Javascript bookmarklet that replaces all the user avatars in a thread with pictures of kittens?
- How much would you expect to earn for your hourly rate? What are the minimum and maximum number of hours you'd hope to work on the site per month?
- Excluding victimless crimes, do you have a criminal record? Would you consent to a credit and background check?
