Okay, so this chick I met through okcupid.com. I asked her if she would go out on a date with me & her response was that of: "yeah we can chill and shit, I don't mind." I am rather bewildered by the potential of the situation. It seems as if by her response she sees me as a friend? I mean, she said 'chill and shit'...that doesn't sound like a legit date. I don't know, she also refers to me as 'dude' and 'man' in our conversation.
*Am I over-analyzing the situation or does the fact that this girl is still talking to me indicate a subtle potential for the development of a intimate relationship?

yea man, just go on the date! i constantly refer to chicks (ones i'm involved in, and ones i'm not) as dude and man... and wanting to 'chill and shit' can still be a date. A date doesn't have to be formal or anything.. I ask chicks out all the time/get asked out on a 'date' by saying we should just chill. - it's not as threatening or something
