Should I turn my neighbor in?

So. My neighbor is a methamphetamine dealer. Some background: He's an older man, maybe a little past middle age. He has two kids:
The older one is in his twenties and has caused many, many problems in the neighborhood including getting into fights with my brother, burglarizing houses, carry unlicensed firearms... the works. He is currently in prison for possession and assault.
The younger one is two years younger and also quite a nuisance. He was in and out of juvie for various things growing up, and still lives at home. He's basically a little thug wannabe who gets into a lot of fights. His two "crew" members are in prison right now for armed robbery and gun charges. I will refer to him as Tim.
Now, over the course of a normal weekend, I can count dozens of cars pull up in front of their house to make a quick transaction and then leave. This, while mildly irritating, is not enough to make me even consider snitching.
However. 1. I operate a business that does some dealing with gold and the like. They know this, and I fear that one day my house will be the target of a breaking-and-entering. 2. I have seen some of their family fights, and they can get very violent, even with each other. 3. MS13 has a presence in my neighborhood, and I have seen Tim hanging out with some known dangerous gang members. To me, this means that they have some connection with them given the dad's status as a dealer. This worries me. 4. My car has been vandalized by members of their family on several occasions. They also stole gas from everyone on the street for a several month period last year. This ended when the police questioned and spooked them.
If I do decide to tip off the police though, I may run into problems with some things: 1. Tim knows a dealer I used to buy various things from, and I know he would not hesitate to rat him out. The dealer knows I have done certain very illegal, very unusual things and might turn me in in exchange for a reduced sentence. However, I severed my ties with this particular dealer three months ago when he ripped me off and I almost died as a result. (EXTRANEOUS DETAIL: I know for a fact the dealer hates Tim with a passion) 2. The family might possibly suspect that I was the one who turned them in, despite maintaining the illusion of a civil relationship with them.
So what do you think, Shroomery? I've been considering this for a while and would love to hear what an unbiased observer thinks I should do. I have many more details if anyone would like them.

Honestly I wouldn't just because if they are getting supplied by MS13 and you help pop a good supply unloader of the gang. Your in deep shit. Also meth heads are some crazy fuckers. I feel for you OP. Mind your own business, and maybe invest in a gun for personal safety if you haven't. Wait til he steal's something of yours, or damages your property then threaten him. I lived in the Meth Capitol USA for awhile and while meth heads can be terrible new, I really fucking hate the dealers.

Meth users/dealers are scum. Less than scum. That said, unless they pose an immediate threat to you, then no, you shouldn't sell him out.
Besides, he'll dig his own grave. A meth dealer with that much visible traffic coming by -- it's only a matter of time.

Mind your business. You dont have to ruin their lives by getting cops involved. If they do something that affects you personally, then deal with them personally. Or if your stuff is being vandalised or broken into report that, thats understandable. You shouldnt snitch on them for selling though, thats just not right. You wouldnt want to get snitched on when you were doing your extremely illegal activities.

No STAL but snitching never solves anything. Anyways I'd say move. Anything else would just be adding fuel to the fire with people like that. Doesn't seem much you can do, especially if they do actually have MS13 ties, I've been locked up with some of their members. I wouldn't give them a reason to target you. They thrive on their rep and always want to prove something. I know a guy we call 'the claw' because he has a lobster claw for a hand now. Just his thumb and index finger because a MS13 gangbanger hit him with a machete and took off 3 of his fingers. He deserved it but still...

I just don't see what good is going to come of ratting them out. Also if you believe in legalization it seems hypocritical for you to rat.

I don't have a problem with someone choosing whatever lifestyle they want, but only as long as it doesn't bleed over into other peoples lives. And I feel like having people like this in the neighborhood is basically a guarantee of future problems.
Thank you guys for the grounded, helpful replies. I agree that it is probably simply a matter of time until he goes down. And it will be much safer for me to just stay out of the way and let things happen on their own. I imagine the police are probably well-acquainted with their little network already...

I would say to not do a thing. Not only is he minding his own business, but if he's had a hard time with both of his kids like you mentioned, ratting him out will only make his life and his kid's lives tougher.
I'd say let him be. He doesn't seem to be doing anything wrong.

Good point. The police where I live already have a reputation for corruption. If this guy is important enough to them, I imagine my name would be easily bought. I'm working on moving, but it will probably be the tail end of two years from now until I actually can.

I definitely sympathize though, OP. Having a scum bag meth dealer and his equally scum bag junkies coming by in droves daily right next door is not an ideal situation, to say the least.
