I know there is a long thread about Battlefield but nothing on COD? Anyone else getting it tonight/tomorrow? A bunch of my friends are into the COD series and NONE got Battlefield so I figured I would invest in COD for some winter time fun.

Never could seem to get into any of the COD games 
Not a fan of dying so quick in FPS.

so I was watching the modern warfare 3 walk through today on youtube. you know what?? it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. it actually looks alright like a pretty good game.
I'm still not going to buy it until the price drops down to $30, but just wanted to mention that. I knocked this game quite a bit comparing it to battlefield 3. but at least modern warfare 3 will probably not have any bugs, and even weeks into the month after it's release date have no title update fix in sight for the bugs. idk

I like it A LOT more then Black Ops already. The kill streaks and all the customizing you can do is awesome.
I just have a question- how do the daily challenges work? Cause today there is one to get 5 kills with just a handgun and I did it plus more and NOTHING happened...bah.

I like the game, but it seems they really tried hard to make it so everyone, regardless of skill, can have a decent game.... IMO that isnt what MW is about.
the killstreaks are fun and the weapon customization is probably the biggest improvement.... graphics seem more like Bops than MW2, a little cartoony at times.
It is good that i already like the game, it is just going to take me some time to transition myself from the much faster paced berserking i did in MW2.
oddly enough i find myself drawn to sniping which i rarely did in any of the CODs.

I played it for a bit last night and got destroyed.
It's definitely different than black ops, and that fact that you have weapon levels now is definitely a big improvement.

My roommate got this game and I had an hour or so of play with it last night. The multi mode called Kill Confirmed was super fun for me.

ummmm yeah. That game has already giving me more hours of entertainment then any bag of weed could have brought.
