 Xbox 360 and Dvds

I'm about to stomp my xbox into pieces, I've burned .avi .wmv and .mp4 files and none of them will play on my xbox, but do so on my dvd player. What is going on? Does anyone know why it wont play these files? It's fucking pissing me off I've wasted like 3 blank dvds now. I'm also burning the dvds using xilisoft 6 and on an Imac.

you have to get the optional media update from xbox live. avi can be played from a flash drive btw. x264 support is spotty at best but it does play 720 xvids.

download rebox.net or multiavchd they both have options for outputting to ps3/xbox
altho rebox.net needs a mkv file to start with, so that might not work for you.
multiavchd is a bit buggy, there's prolly better programs out there for you just do a search for xbox video converstion
