 Fayette Sheriff: New, dangerous drug surfaces in county

FAYETTEVILLE (WVVA) - Detectives with the Fayette County Sheriff's Department have learned of a new and very dangerous drug that has surfaced in the county.
Authorities say the drug, known by the street name of 'Mollies,' is an apparent combination of Ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms mixed with cocaine and/or heroin. The drug has been sold in the Scarbro-Oak Hill-Glen Jean-Mount Hope area of Fayette County.
The drug is apparently advertised by local dealers as 'Ecstasy,' but the effects are far more potent.
A well-known local drug user reported to the sheriff's department that a single dose of the drug caused him to hallucinate and lose total control of his mind for two days. Another individual who spoke with sheriff's detectives said he had never cooperated with law enforcement before, but felt this new drug was potentially lethal.
Anyone with any information concerning this new drug or any other drug information is urged to call the Sheriff's Office Drug Unit at 304-574-4305 , Crimestoppers at 304-255-STOP or submit a tip through the sheriff's office website at www.fayettesheriffwv.net.

Sounds like the reporter got a hold of some local drug lunatic and for a laugh he just fed them a load of bullshit.

It's extremely frustrating to believe that there are actually people in prominent and influential positions in our society (media, politicians, etc.) that are this unbelievably stupid. Honestly I really do try, but I simply fail to fathom just how someone in this day and age can be this profoundly stupid and spew so much bullshit out their ass. I just don't understand how someone could run a news story off of this. The fact that they have NO CLUE WHATSOEVER what mollies are shows that they couldn't have spent any more than five whole minutes researching this subject, which they obviously know absolutely nothing about, before issuing what is supposed to be [what we HOPE would be] a well-informed report on something to the public.
Part of me wants to believe that these people really disseminated this bullshit on accident, because it would feel taunting to know that those in power and the media were purposefully oppressing us by intentionally spreading lies, and that there was nothing we could do about it. But on the other hand, I don't want to believe that there actually human beings still alive today with this low of an IQ level. Makes me feel really down about the human race.

They won't listen when you tell them it's harmless and show them proof, but if you say it's harmful they'll do a press release for you without the slightest proof or verification.

Make up a story about a fake drug, then google gory images or images of really fucked up people and blame it on this new "drug." Say it's like a cocktail of LSD, PCP, crank and heroin. Create false statistics and be sure to include something about "the children" in there.
In fact, if you do this I will send them a message about the same "drug" so the story seems more real
