Considering the fact the fire is raining from the sky and a giant 3 headed Reptilian extradimensional super-demon is shooting lasers from the 11th dimension, I would say that the end of the world is nigh.

I have a handcrafted leather Mayan calendar on my wall. I think the date (in 2012) represents the day aliens return to ask for more precious metals. I mean, it only makes sense that they would be using these ancient people to mine for gold, lithium, etc etc.
