Bucket tek question

When doing the bucket tek can I just add the spawn to the substrate after it cools, put 2 holes at substrate level with micropore tape and cover the top with aluminum or plastic wrap(which is better?), then just add the FAE holes after its fully colonized to induce fruiting ??
