Question about this forum
    #15237266 - 10/17/11 09:11 AM (1 year, 6 months ago)

Hey.

Never been here before.

Wife and I experiencing some weird shit in the sky. Now that it's week 3 and a craft came closer last night, I wanna run things by you guys.

Telescope confirms it's definitely not anything man made.

She can login her account and verify everything that I say, if needed.

Thanks.

D

Interesting.  Can you describe, factually, what you see and what makes you conclude it is not something man made?

What is inconsistent with a man-made phenomena?

Re: Question about this forum [Re: johnm214] * 2
    #15237361 - 10/17/11 09:50 AM (1 year, 6 months ago)

I've got an appointment with a client very soon so here's what I was able to come up with for now:

I really want to lay this out so you guys can make up your minds about it, so gimme a little while.

I've tried putting it together as to why it'd make sense, or what they would be, etc. and can't come up with anything.

My first impression of them not being manmade is that most, if not all, of the craft are like spinning diamonds in the sky. I've never seen so many colors in my life. One night they were communicating with each other - from horizon to above me. They often stay static in the sky, but as they move (rapidly), we have to adjust our telescope. I think we finally saw its thrusters last night.

We've seen satellites and have been on any aircraft you can think of. These make no sound.

Just say for example one ship had as few as 1,000 colors. It'd be flashing 543 / 333 / 789 / 125 but in these color sequence that make it look like one of those see-through squid in the deep sea that shoot colors throughout their body. You almost want to hear music seeing the colors change on these things. It's almost hypnotic and synaesthetic. On the night when the sky came alive I just couldn't take it anymore.. there were so many colors coming from everywhere but it was like the grandest yet loudest piano music in my head. I know that doesn't make sense and may sound nuts, that's fine, I understand.

I guess the other thing would be a craft dropping these little white things, they had a pale light.. I guess kinda like those cave creatures that've evolved to give off a faint bioluminesence.

One second these pale things are across the sky or (appearing to be...?) dropping down to earth from the "ship". Then the little phospho-colored things went back to the main craft, as if you dropped a magnet on a plate of metal shavings.

One night a fighter jet came across the sky. I don't want to jump to the conclusion that they were looking for this thing. It went in the spinning diamond's general direction and, as I'm looking through our scope, this thing seems to take the "time/space" around it and curl up inside of itself to disappear. It looked like.. um, I guess kind of like a curl of smoke, or when someone kneads bread the last time before flattening it out.

I can't explain it that well, I wish you guys could see this, I can imagine my attempts at explaining this phenom. are terrible.

Anyway, these things don't let any aircraft or even satellites near them. We've got an airport maybe 50 miles away so every once in awhile you'll have a plane go by. These things cloak themselves from everything at a specified and calculated distance and it's that same smoke puff / kneaded bread when they disappear.

Sometimes these objects will spin on an axis, as if they're an electron. Or they'll drop suddenly and stay there until moving back up to their original spot. They always end up in their original place. They sometimes move left or right, as well. These are not just simple linear movements, you can tell these are perfected and calculated movements. How they kinda just hover there in the sky without using any sort of power or visible thruster is beyond me.

There's more to any of this than that, I guess what's bugging me is that one night the sky came alive with these things. No one's believing us it's freaking us out kinda. This is not a troll and the only drugs either one of us do are prescription drugs for pain and anxiety. Wife's clean.

We do live out in the country, and both of us are educated past your standard college degree. Neither one of us have had hallucinations or delusions in our life.

In essence: we're not nuts, we're not rednecks, and these things really are happening... but of what nature, I don't know.

I've gotta say UFO because frankly I just don't know wtf these things are.

We're in NW Minnesota near the Canadian border (2 hours away?) if anyone knows of anything here.

Sorry for the odd attempts to explain what these things are doing. I didn't realize it'd be so difficult to explain what's going on, especially in text. Reading it back to myself.. it sounds nuts. I wish you guys were here to see them, one for the fact they're just downright beautiful.

Stick your camera through the eye piece of your telescope next time you see it. Otherwise it's just words.

in what part of the sky are you looking? at what time of night? I'm on the 45th parallel in wi, the skies should be the same. do you see them every night? are they only visible threw a scope? what magnification?

Good catch, should've clarified. We were unable to see any thrusters until we got our hands on a telescope. They seemed to just fall back into place with the naked eye.

I'm also not 100% sold that's what they are. As the "diamonds" move back to their original location, there appears to be a bright orange line underneath them. I've only seen them when they are moving, but sometimes not. So I'm not really sure if they're serving that particular purpose in the absolute. They move the same direction with them but also move the same direction without them.

Was misdiagnosed as having a schizo-effective disorder by some 80 year old psychiatrist 10 years ago. Was just social anxiety. As you know, giving anti-psychotics to a person without psychosis may induce hallucinations, irrational thoughts, delusions, etc.

You must've missed that part if you think that you know anything about me.

My wife can verify all of this if you want, I have nothing to hide. I'm as curious into finding out what these things are as the next person. Not afraid they're going to break into my home and shove something in my ass - I'd probably have much more fun than they.

I'll have to get coordinates or find some way to get you specifications, snoot. Our telescope was only $200 and my wife has more advanced experience with them than I do.

Their odd shape and movement can be seen with a fairly decent set of binoculars, but you won't see the true beauty of this vast array of colors unless you're scoping.

Haven't really been incredibly interested in astronomy since I was a kid, but if this can help - they seem to appear "Southwest" of the little dipper but don't move with the stars.

The first week we saw them every night. When we ordered our telescope they, of course, stopped appearing. We were afraid they were gone. A few nights later they reappeared in the sky. That's the only hiatus they've taken and I'm sure is just coincidence.

We only experienced one other phenomenon out here and that was last summer. Must've been late July. An incredibly bright craft came from the horizon, did kind of a U-turn, became smaller (guess it rose up) and disappeared over the other horizon. All of this in maybe 3 seconds.

Not many people out here are donning their tinfoil hats except the meth heads for obvious reasons.

What's interesting though is that it's not uncommon for people here to have their own sighting story. I mentioned it to a co-worker and it was one of those "saw one at a family gathering with 25 other people, one of the coolest things I've ever seen". So it's socially accepted and something is going on.

I, for one, know I won't be feeling my skin every night looking for RFIDS or implants.

As an aside, does anyone know of any aircraft that does this type of stuff? Or natural reasons?

I'm a skeptic but this story is conjuring cool images in my head so I'm down to hear more even if it's bs.

Chances are if it's doing some really unexplainable stuff and it's a man-made aircraft, the average citizen is not going to know what it is.  AKA some sort of top secret thing or a high tech research craft of some kind.  Not saying that's what it is, but if it seems to be breaking common engineering barriers with ease, I doubt we'll really have much clue what kind of aircraft it could be.

If it's military, there's a base NE of us probably about 150 miles, and of course Fargo ND's air base. Neither are really "top secret" by any means, though.

As far it being "bs"... just describing what we've been seeing. Albeit pretty poorly. It's really a lot more amazing and almost like having a peak experience seeing these things doing whatever it is they're doing.

Everything else aside.. just the colors these things can produce is beautiful.

Not trying to say it is bs.  I just meant even if it's nothing special or really is entirely made up for fun, I still want to hear more.  I believe you're seeing something interesting though and I'm jealous.

taking pictures via a telescope is not an easy task, its not exactly hard but its not easy.

I'm rather curious myself, I've seen some really bright bright objects lately, that seem to shimmer all sorts of colors that I just assumed was a planet or star, I cant seem to locate it the books I've been looking threw. The times I've seen it, it would pop up over my garage light usually after midnight, and wouldn't move all night it was rather odd. In the direction of Orions belt in the southeast sky, below it. At first I thought it was a helicopter or plane, because of the way it was coming, I thought for sure after the first time I saw it, that after I came back outside a lil later it would be gone, but it didn't. At the time it wouldn't move so I just figured that maybe I was at the right perspective or it was flying at me. But the way it was shimmering was rather peculiar, it was like it was strobing green/blue/red/white, almost like a cut diamond rotating in the light. I've seen it nearly in the same spot the past couple nights, and a few times the week before. Ill do some recon tonight and if its still there, as I suspect I will attempt to take some night shots, grated the weather is permitted. I can't say for sure this is anything like you are seeing, or even in the same area of the nights sky, this may very well be and most likely is something natural.

my telescope is at my brothers, I believe, I'm curious to see what this might look like under a scope. I watch the night sky quite a bit, and I'm fairly familiar with the planets and stars, this thing caught my eye straight away,.

It would help out alot to know exactly where you're looking. what does 'southwest' mean? Do you actually mean southwest relative to ursa minor? Ill be outside looking tonight most definitely, what do they look like with the naked eye?

Although commonly stigmatised by the western world these things are really really common.

Astronomers tend to call them anomolous phenomena instead of UFOs.

You can see them regularly if you have the time, patience and equiptment and are away from light pollution.

I used to do sky watches and I've seen many UFOs that defy rational explainations, huge red balls in the sky that move as if under intelligent control.  Small orbs that      travel along and just stop mid flight before taking off again.  1 was stopped for about 3 hours before taking off and was like a bright star in the sky.  Triangle formation orbs that float along and appear to be in space.  Strange lights on the moon.  I've even seen huge ships landing.

Most people just don't want to know about this sort of stuff so they laugh at it or shun it.  The media doesn't help either by making a mockery.  Most people live in citys where theres high light pollution and people rarely look up.

Its far more common than people realise though.
