So, I ended up with some defective parafilm a while back that cracked and tore, leaving all of my plates exposed to the elements. I quarantined a bunch of these guys and forgot about some of them for a few weeks...

What's that super yellow mold?

If I could make a living being a random mold and bacteria farmer, I would make a killing. I'm sure we all would. :smile:

Toxic. Mmmmmm.... Doesn't it?

It's a bit disturbing to realize that this sort of stuff is floating in the air where I live/work/sleep/eat. It's probably growing in my lungs and pores by now. <sigh>

It's kind of pretty though. At one point in the beginning stages of my work with agar and tissue cloning I had considered making some sort of photo collage or coffee table book of the wonderful world of mold.
