Shins said: Whatever you say.
it may appear to be plausible, but the fact is, it is a faith based opinion.
Maybe some people hold it as a faith-based opinion, but the fact of the matter is that it's simply a scientific theory, which is a world of difference away from a "faith-based opinion".
Quote:
when people say god created life, all they are saying is that nature and the universe created life.
Extremely doubtful. Some people might be implying that, but, by and by, they are specifically referring to the intervention of a force that exists independently from nature and the universe, a force that isn't inherent within nature or the universe themselves. This lies completely at odds with the proponents of the theory that evolution is responsible for the existence of life, who only cite natural factors.
Quote:
creationists say: i baked some bread.
athiestd say NO! you combined wheat flour, hymilean crystal salt, datsani water, carribean cane sugar, #4556 bakers yeast, and 350 degree heat.
the point is, creationists as they are called, just put it more simply, evolutionists as they are called try to explain the PROCESS in great detail.
This isn't an accurate representation of the matter. Proponents of evolutionary theory might very well indeed say something like: "you combined wheat flour, hymilean crystal salt, datsani water, carribean cane sugar, #4556 bakers yeast, and 350 degree heat."
But creationists will either say that some extra force came down and jizzed all over the kitchen in order for the baking process to begin, if they are more reasonable to accept that these ingredients were in fact combined together in such a procedure that resulted in the baking of bread. Other creationists actually proclaim that God came down and put the baked bread in the oven.
Quote:
if amino acids combined spontaniously to create life, well thats another form of creation is it not?
Not the form of creation that Creationists refer to. They either feel that they didn't combine spontaneously, in that God intended on the process to happen or set the precursory factors in such a way for it to happen, or they hold the view that there were no amino acids that one day combined to create life, rather that God came down and manifested completed life-forms.

I wouldn't fear
For I've never known completeness
Like being here
Wrapped in the warmth of you
Loving every breath of you

Why does faith have anything to do with it when being a human has all to do with it. A belief system surrounding divination is not needed to make conscious or critical decisions. Any peaceable belief system should not be berated, but being void of such a system should not strike one with fear. I'm glad RP doesn't bring faith into the game - we should work together in progression, not form cabals and gain support by promoting a single idea. Faith should stay with the individual, peace should stay with us all, and acceptance of diversity should reign.
-------------------- Reductio ad absurdum -deducing that everybody knows nothing without substituting a facade of concrete logic for diaphanous suppositions. Unfortunately, without an inherent truth to life, it would be impossible to hinder free thought and forcefully impose surreptitious ideologies which ultimately infarcts the portion of the brain responsible for applying any work not rewarded by monetary gain. That would be bad.
Contemplating counter intuitive concepts can culminate with capricious creativity or cerebral cessation. Conceivably crazy, yet clever, coherent concepts challenge copulatory clichés, criminal cabals and certainty contrived of conjectures. Cognition or coagulation, choose conscientiously.
