White Widow x Grapefruit Diesel Grow Log (Updated With Harvest Pics)

Seeds acquired from a cool-ass member here :cool:

This is day 10 after sprouting:

This is my first serious herb grow. Is the plant size OK for the plants age? I have it under a shitty 13W CFL at the moment, but I have a 125W 6500K CFL w/ reflector on the way. The plant has just been transferred from a solo cup to a 3 gallon hempy style bucket with coco. I just started adding nutes at 50% strength which she (hopefully a she) seemed to like. I'm going to veg her until I get a flowering cab with HPS light set up.

I'll try to keep this updated as I go along. As I said, this is my first mj grow, so it will be some trial and error on my part. Any tips appreciated. Let's just hope it really is a "she". If not, I still have plenty of seeds to experiment with :thumbup:

This first post will be updated with pics only from future posts throughout the rest of the thread for those of you who don't like having to read through a whole thread to see the progress (like me )

looks like shed really like a nice nitrogen boost :grin:

but you said you recently applied, so see how she reacts first i guess, but the overall color looks like nitrogen Deficiency.

what are you fertilizing with?
and what are you using for medium? just coco?

that plant looks like its going to enjoy some good toppings :grin:

dont let them get too big(vertical) before topping/fim'ing, any of the times you decide to, because they will stretch considerably in early flower. dont expect a plant topped and bushy around 18" to stay anywhere close to 18" :lol:

unless of course you ScrOG

excellent looking seedling btw :thumbup:

if youre forced for whatever reason to veg her long time b4 flower, turn her into a mom, and flower a clone to see sex. and then youll have a mature mom by this point to take a bunch of clones from(that can be flowered anywhere from one week after taking root)(also 10 little clones will put off much better selection of nuggets than one bigger plant. with the advantage of even canopy, and lights being close to ALL of the plant)

i would start up another seed or two buddy :yesnod:

I just started 4 or 5 dank seeds a few days ago too! Mine havent sprouted yet but I'm patiently waiting.

The yellow look to the leaves is from the crappy lighting. They are actually nice and green. Once I get the good cfl I'll take better pics so you can see. For nutes, I'm using the fox farm trio (grow, big bloom, tiger bloom) with a drop of superthrive. Solution was ph adjusted to 5.8. I'm also supplementing with epsom salt at 1 tsp/gal because I've heard coco needs it for calcium. I just started with the nutes yesterday, a day after transferring to coco. Prior to that the sprout was in a solo cup with homemade compost.

The bucket has a perlite rez below the hole (1" up from bottom) and the rest is coco.

So assuming the plant looks ok can I go to full strength nutes or should I step it up little by little?

I'm going to wait to get the cab set up. This is basically a test run for me to get the hang of things. I don't want to half-ass anything on the next round. I'm going to set up separate veg/flower chambers and if this turns out to be a female she will be my first mom for sure :yesnod:

I'm in love with this plant already :lol:

I won't have room to grow more than 1 plant at a time anyway, so it wouldn't be ideal to get a bunch of seeds going right now. If they all end up being fem I don't want to get screwed with lack of space.

hehe i like when you get successfull crosses

this is a result from a bush grow off WW,Durban poisin and purple power.
the seed from that was pulled from the purple power bud.

This second gen of seeds from same batch but pulled from the Durban poison bud originally. 1st gen mother had pinkishred hair that was much lighter than the original plant before the cross.
As u can see this bud still held some of that pink purple.
Unfourtunalty these seeds are belived lost.

Any way good luck cant wait to see bud porn!
