Hypnosis - Regression
    #15037162 - 09/06/11 11:36 AM (1 year, 8 months ago)

Has anyone ever had regression hypnosis?

I'm interested in hearing peoples experiences of hypnosis and particularly regression.

I was thinking about going because I had a close encounter with a space craft when I was a teenager and I want to go back and experience it again.

I'm also quite interested in going for past life regression just to see what its like and if it works.

I've read some stuff on it and it is very interesting. I find it amazing when people start talking about past lives and even the time spent in between incarnations. I recently came across this book which deals with a regression hypnotists whose patients were incarnating on Earth to assist the planet in an alleged transformation in the near future. The author is Dolores Cannon and the book is called Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth.

Product Description

This is a fascinating narrative that reveals the cosmic forces that have been in play over the past 66 years. Help has come from the outside to preserve the human race.

In 1945 when the atomic bombs, our "protectors" and "watchers" in outer space saw that Earth was on a collision course with disaster. The prime directive of non-interference prevented them from taking any action, but then they came up with a brilliant plan to save Earth and assist her in her ascension. They couldn't interfere from the "outside," but maybe they could influence from the "inside." So the call went out for volunteers to come and help. "Earth is in trouble - who wants to volunteer?"

Dolores Cannon, through her hypnosis work has discovered three waves of these volunteers. Some have come direct from the "Source" and have never lived in any type of physical body before. Others have lived as space beings on other planets or other dimensions. Because all memory is erased upon entry to the Earth dimension, they do not remember their assignment. Thus these beautiful souls have a difficult time adjusting to our chaotic world. These souls have a vital role to play as they help all of the rest of us ascend to the New Earth.
About the Author

Dolores Cannon is a regressive hypnotherapist, author, speaker, and psychic researcher who records "Lost" knowledge. Her many books have sold more than 150,000 copies. She lives in Arkansas.

Just wondering, on a bit different topic
do you know why we are here?

I was listening to NDEs ealier and they were saying there were millions of souls waiting eager to incarnate.  A lot of people say that suicide is really bad as well because your soul has to start again.

Its like we are here for our souls to learn something but there has to be this veil like we cannot know the reason.

I think the idea is that we wouldn't learn anything if we knew everything. So we forget and play this human game, in order to grow spiritually. Apparently the human experience is one of the most difficult and rewarding experiences the Universe has to offer.

I just watched this video last night:

This sounds interesting, however it does present some danger.

Just because you remember something does not mean it happened.

The human mind is flawed and memories are a mix of past present and subconscious.

Not to mention there is always the danger that the hypnotist can implant ideas and memories.

Just be careful and keep that in mind.

I took a seminar with Dolores in June and learned how to use her technique.  I have facilitated around 20 regressions so far, and have experienced some amazing things, including deep healings.

I no longer have any doubt that past lives exist.  People just couldn't make up the kind of stuff I've heard, evidenced by the strong emotional context many of the experiences evoke.  Almost every person I've worked with has cried at some point in the regression, so strong is the connection to the life you are viewing.  I've had a client go through an abduction expeirence.  Another who was a mermaid on another planet.  And yet another client who is experiencing his first incarnation in a physical form. (A second waver from the referenced book)

The point of a Cannon Method Regression though is to contact a client's "subconscious" or "higher self".  This is where the really amazing things can happen...profound physical healings, DNA Activations, Auric field cleansing/repairing, cellular tragedies removed, karma released, contracts broken, dietary guidelines, meeting guides/guardian angels, confirmation of purpose, remembering an event from the past, guidance on a major choice, suggestions on how to have more abundance, how to become more psychic, etc...answers to just about any question you could possibily imagine.  If its appropiate for you to know at this time your higher self will answer it.  Really quite amazing.

I had the process done on myself as well and it was very interesting.  I remembered everything from the hypnosis, but it was facinating hearing a voice that was speaking that wasn't quite mine.  You really feel like you are the person you are watching.

That's awesome man. Is the technique difficult to learn? Have you had any success with self hypnosis?

The technique is very easy to learn, all it takes is practice to ask the right questions to let them fill out the story.  There is almost always a thread that emerges that provides healing/clarity for something in this present incarnation.  Every life has lessons.  Every life has a purpose.  In addition, the guidance you can recieve from your higher self is often specific, powerful and quite profound.

I haven't tried self hypnosis, though its something I should look into.

Would "astral projection"/WILD's be considered "self hypnosis"?

I don't see why not. The methods overlap and the means seem to be indistinguishable. I've read of hypnotists inducing OBEs in clients.

Hypnotists do not implant ideas, they may make suggestions, but only upon the request of the subject. It is the subject who confound dreams and fantasies with memories of allegedly historical events. That is why, as a hypnotist/hypnotherapist since 1989, I first request what vague experiences the client wants retrieved from regression. I must protect myself, from the possible claim that in revivifying a subject, or by inducing hypermnesia, that I'm ret-raumatizing the client!
