American Concentration Camps

Can't find too much on this subject. The web has mostly the same old stuff about it rewritten in different forms on different sites. We have all heard of the German concentration camps and how Hitler gassed all of those Jews (there is a lot about that on the net if you want to read more Nazi Concentration Camps)
However a lot isn't said about the one's that America started and threw all of the Japanese in. Death marches, beatings, and starvation to name a few of the things that those people went through. When the Japs invaded Hawaii, it is said that 70% of that state is made up of Japanese...when they invaded Hawaii, they invaded their own people it looks to me like!
Families are reported as wanting to fight for America, only to be thrown in a concentration camp.

Good lord, what could you possibly cite to back up this comparison? Is there any reason whatsoever you refrenced nazi death camps but to give a false impression and further whatever it is your trying to push?
The US did not have extermination camps, did not "gas" internees, did not "throw all of the Japanese in, and the list of the inaccuracies goes on.
After the islanders helped shelter at least one crashed Jap pilot, the feeling was that this expression of sympathy created pretty clear evidence of a problem, so some of the western states interned Japanese people during the war to prevent a "fifth column" of sabatoeurs. All the Japanese weren't interned, none were gassed, no death camps were created, and the conditions were nothing like the nazi extermination camps.

Uh, when did the Japanese invade Hawaii? I must have missed that part of history class.

Given how inaccurate your claims are so far, I don't see any reason to trust that there's anything there. The internment seemed a pretty cut and dried reaction to the sudden attack on America from the public's point of view, and the actions of the islanders who sheltered the Japanese pilot(s) (forget if there was more than one that was sheltered).

Watch your tone newb.
This isn't a place to call people, 'idiot' for poking holes in your flawed thesis.

How you people have the patience to deal with this nonsense all day is astounding.

We apologize if the topic of our conversions or the dialog contained there-in disturb you.
Would you much prefer us to send you an itemized list prior to posting so we can have you pre-approve what we shall discuss so it doesn't cause any stress in your astounding levels?
However in America & Canada, we are somewhat use to being able to discuss what we wish too especially in this forum. It is called free speech. It is a good thing.

I just got a freakin warning from a moderator about defending myself! I admit, I shouldn't have used the word "idiot" and I'm sorry, and I would imagine that's why he warned me, but I hope it wasn't for defending my post. Apparently no one reads these before commenting...

This is a good networking sight and we all from time to time can get caught up in a moment and say things that we regret later.
Life is just a big classroom. Lots to learn, lots to consider, lots to explore. I am sure you agree too that calling other members names is not the way to stimulate good conversation.
Some people will not be able to see your perspective on life, and often you will fail to see theirs. However, it's all food for thought. Its good to open ones mind a try and learn something new everyday.

It was for calling someone an idiot.
Apparently nobody read the rules before typing your post.

Here in Colorado a lot of people into conspiracy stuff go on and on about the massive bunkers underneath the Denver airport with coffins, saying that it's proof the government is going to kill us all.
What I think they don't realize is that these massive graves are needed in case we get attacked and there are massive casualties.

So you're saying that there never were any American FEMA Camps at all? Man, the government has hid this one good! There are peoples reports of being held in those very same camps that nobody can prove existed. Check this interview out...Japanese Interview on American Concentration Camps Seriously, don't post until you watch this! Or at least don't post and say they never existed until you watch this!

I'm not sure, I was just posting this for the fact that the American
government DID have internment camps on free soil! That's the irony of
it all!

FEMA didnt run the internment camps in WWII which is what the OP also talk about, the internment camps that held both japanese and german US citizens did exist... for some reason everyone is stuck on the japanese being held but totally ignore the germans that were living in the US held in camps, no one is denyng the existence of these camps as there were germans held during WWI and WWII in these camps and the japanese in the latter war
I'm denying the existence of the FEMA/REX 84 camps FEMA wasnt even established until the end of the carter administration and these camps were supposedly established under Reagan
now, should we pick the old internment camps or these alleged FEMA camps and stop trying to discuss both as though they're the same because they arent
