I dunno, i get the feeling that females feel like they're automatically socially accepted, and that guys have to prove their worth whenever their around girls. Why is a person's even important at all? It's not to me, it's just this stupid culture.

I think the majority of people that I know are not cool, not even myself. It really takes a special person to make me think that they're cool and it usually ends up being males. Males tend to have more personality and don't take things as seriously as women.

Dude, for example: a girl posts on the shroomery, and everybody is on her vagina. But when some guys talk to her, people automatically think theyre trying to hit on her, and some people think theyre not cool enough. Pretty much, in a conversation between girls and boys on the shroomery, every girl (except for Ellen) is automaticaly cool, and some guys automatically are not cool just because their guys and their trying to talk to a girl.
Its fucking stupid, sex should not mean anything. Just because your a girl doesnt mean Im trying to talk to you to get laid, and it doesnt mean that everybody should automatically respect u.

it isn't about women at all (not to be sexist here, i love women and look at them as equals) ... but men really do run shit. if you look at women the way your posting title implies, you'll never ever get one.

I look at women as equals, sadly most of them dont. Thats my dillema, I dont want a girl who figures herself to be a princess, which most of them do.

Guys here DO hit on girls as soon as they see a picture though. Check the Pics of pubbers thread for some examples of the desperation some guys don't even try to be discreet about.
I feel kind of bad for some of the guys in that thread.

i don't believe there is any room for generalization in the delicate dynamic that is interpersonal relation between men and women. to say its this way or that way cannot be. there is too much variety. the sweetest girl i've ever known, who turned out to be a virgin and went on to be my gal for 3 years perused me. she certainly ain't no slut. i think you're making too much of things op... you have to not worry about it all so much and it sort of just works itself out. just be yourself and don't worry. easier said than done, i know...

Tha dynamic between men and women should be the same as the dynamic between men..sausage fests should be the same as sausage + taco fests.
I am not making to much of things, i just hate how most people are. Im not worrying ,theres nothing to wrry about. Ive accepted this state of affairs. Fuck, cant a guy wish things were better? Dont we all wish things were better?

sounds like you have to rely on other people to determine who you are where in reality you are gonna be who you are whether people are there or not its called self confidence when you dont give a fuck about what other people are thinking about you bc you are already confident that you are you and you is fine with you. GET THERE! i like to call it alpha-ville and i haven't even lived there long but its changed my life from being a sad sappy sucker to being me and im perfectly content with being myself  it has nothing to do with sex.

Imagine how easy life must be if you're a hot chick.
You get showered with attention your whole life. It doesn't matter if you're super-shy, or even a total bitch, guys will still trip over each other trying to impress you. They pay to take you out on dates, for presents, and pretty much anything else you want. You don't even have to work, you can just be a gold digger and marry some rich guy who will take care of you. If you tire of him, you just get divorced and take half of everything he has since he had the privilege of being your husband for a while.
On the other hand if your a shy ugly broke guy your shit out of luck.

you're only sol if you tell yourself that... iono what its like to be ugly, shy, or poor (a lil shy), but you have to man the fuck up. i see dudes at parties standing around looking awkward... why the fuck are you at a party? you have to learn to be comfortable in your own skin. if you can't force yourself to at least attempt to learn that... you can then say you are sol.
