shadows and such can produce stronger hallucinations from what i've seen, which can be good or bad because sometimes tryptamine visuals can sometimes be frightening but for the most part are beautiful either way.

Old thread but who cares.
Lsd for day, and shrooms for night. Sleeping on acid is no go, but its easy on shrooms
But thats not to say i wont take acid at night and shrooms during the day

Late afternoon a couple hours before sunset. I've found that time between the two different states to be the best.

To get the best of both worlds, dose very late at night/early morning, and catch the sunrise around the peak. I usually stay up late... Dosing in the early evening is chaotic because of the dark. Sunlight works wonders on a fragile mind. Dosing just before sunset is always strange, because it seems to take so long to get dark, and when it finally does, it feels like a day has gone by and I should be coming down, but things are just picking up. Dosing bright and early and well rested is optimal but I'm honestly a pretty lazy person. It's hard to get me out of bed and on acid first thing in the morning. But if I'm camping and the sun wakes me up to a beautiful day, absolutely.
LSD and sleep deprivation go hand-in-hand for me because I've never really eaten it well-rested and at the right time of day. It is always at midnight or two am or some odd hour, usually after some alcohol. Then I wind up tripping all through the next day, finally crashing around sunset that night, or maybe even later.

Personally, and this came from coincidence as we would always go out to the field around 1:00 and be back to the dorms around 3:00, I like to start my trip at about 2:00 or 3:00 and head for the woods. You trip all rest of the night and get a nice deep introspective trip mixed with fun and colors if with friends. By the time the sun is coming up you are still sort of tripping, but not peaking and its beautiful. That morning we would always walk away from the woods to one of our dorm rooms or to go get some coffee on campus and realize when you get there you are still sort of coming down because the menu board's words won't stop moving so you just pick something easy you know they will have haha. The next day I have so much energy, a positive outlook, and new found confidence, that it doesn't even matter that you haven't slept. Plus as a bonus the next night you will sleep like a baby! That's just my take.

Right on drr! Posted it as I was typing, I have the same outlook on this as you, perfect time! And the sleep deprivation/psychedelics combo goes together perfectly!

Totally feel you pineapple man. Sometimes those fried 2nd days are beautiful, I am usually in a great mood, confident, still somewhat altered but level-headed, and more outgoing than usual. And you are right, going to bed after one of those looooong nights is the best sleep ever.

What's chill about doing a high dose of acid at around noon, is that when my trip is pretty much over, which is around night, I can just smoke a bowl and I'm full blown tripping again. I did this last Saturday, actually. Dropped a 10 strip of some fire L, tripped all day, came home, smoked a bowl out of my bong and then I had people appearing out of no where trying to take me into different dimensions

I really enjoy aspects of both. During the day I like to enjoy the outdoors of course, but I don't mind being on a comfortable bed or couch listening to music during a night trip.
