I have some brf cakes that look like they have some kind of cob web contam. Is it possible that the mycelium could over take the cob web and still be able to fruit? If not, is there anything that I can do to save the cakes like squirt them with some H2O2?

Make a H2O2 solution and mist it. If u see your suspected cobweb rapidly dissolve, then it is cobweb. Cobweb is a nuisance but you should be ok to fruit

The problem is that the cakes are still in the jars and they are less than 25% colonized. Would it be a good idea to inject them with some h2o2 solution from a clean syringe?

I've seen mycelia out compete a lot of organisms on cakes... That being said, the mushrooms that grow out of funky cakes aren't always what you want to put into your body.... Just sayin.

I had a problem with cobweb in a monotub which i've chucked, just chipping in to ask if a spray with diluted h202 would be enough to destroy the cobweb then continue the grow? Sorry to hijack, looking for the same answer tho
