THE THREE SAGES THAT SAVED MY LIFE
BY Cosmicjoker
Humanity craves protection from suffering, some kind of faithful assurance like the Beatles singing "Don't you know it's gonna be alright" This is part of our humanity... I believe we can achieve this protection through many different ways... this is how I achieved the protection. You will ask protection from what? Protection from the extreme sufferings that can happen while living a human earth life, in other words asking for a certain deal of comfort along the spiritual ride! The following is based on my own true story, visions, and experiences... yes it’s a miracle story! and miracles are part of our humanity and shape our value system… yet all miracles should open us up the miracle of this moment right here right now where we can find oneness and all it’s beautiful manifestations
Once in the timeless oneness of nirvana, there exists "Amitabha"Buddha, which translates as "Infinite Light," This is a romantic flowery name, but it no different then any other BEING that has achieved Buddhahood. A Buddha is some being who took the final leap into the GOD head of oneness, or NIRVANA and became completely blissful and fulfilled, beyond all suffering forever, yet seeing all, knowing all, living it all out, and experiencing it all from a state of peace(beyond suffering)... Buddha waits patiently for other souls to merge with him in his state of COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS... Amitābha in particular, within the illusion of duality, was, an alien on another highly advanced planet, before a thin veil came to earth as a monk named Dharmakāra. In some versions of the sūtra, Dharmakāra is described as a kingly fellow who, having gotten a Buddha shakti bolt from, buddha Lokesvararaja, renounced his throne. At that time, he resolved to become a buddha and so to come into possession of a buddhakṣetra ("buddha-field", a realm existing in the primordial universe outside of ordinary space time, )
What he realized when he came Buddha is the infinite levels of consciousness contain many astral universes beyond primordial universes… On of these Buddha fields, this Buddha is now hanging out in a nirvanic state of consciousness. Amitābha is the Buddha of the comprehensive love. It is interesting to note that his most powerful enlightenment technique is the visualization of the surrounding world as a paradise. See the beauty is a doorway to enlightenment, simple message… obviously the individual has to take an active role for this method, using visualization… On this Buddha field, Amitabha is surrounded by two beautiful Bodhisattvas. Avalokiteśvara, a bodhisattva who embodies the compassion of Buddha." This bodhisattva is variably depicted as male or female, in this case she is female for the story purposes and in this case I will call her Gaun Yin. Mahāsthāmaprāpta is with her (that means Arrival of the great strength) She is bodhisattva mahāsattva that represents the power of wisdom, often depicted in a trinity with Amitābha Buddha and Avalokiteśvara bodhisattva mentioned above, especially in the Pure Land Buddhism.
From my cosmic understanding which most orthodox buddhists would probably object to. The bodhisattvas still have a small veil that keeps them subjective and separate from the ultimate nirvana. Albeit this veil is as small as veils come… Despite this, the light of bliss and oneness shine through them... they took a vow to not achieve the state Buddha had achieved in order to collect the rest of God (Souls(individual forms of god) into the God Head (nirvana), so that all beings in all the universes achieve non-suffering, total ever new bliss and enlightenment.
One day in this timeless Buddha field, Buddha hears laughter from the earth plane... It is Eric Lang sitting in his room realizing the cosmic joke as a beginner on the spiritual path... Buddha laughs with Eric in oneness... then Eric goes back to his struggle on the spiritual path the ups and downs of being bi-polar... Buddha watches Eric's life... then Buddha creates a situation through the oneness and Eric's soul, and Eric himself, to make Eric doubt that the beatles were right when they sung, "Don't you know it's gonna be alright?" He was having Tantric sex with his friend at the time, and the condom broke. (Note: forgive me if sex offends you, it is needed to tell the story) This really worried Eric who was in college at the time. Eric knew he wasn't ready for fatherhood, and this girl was just a friend he wanted to find his soul mate (who he later found in the form of Elise, shout out to Elise!) and would hate to ask for money for an abortion and deal with all that... that would NOT be ALRIGHT as the beatles sung, that would be horrible. That previous summer before Eric was in school living in the dorms studying consciousness religion philosophy and psychology as his self created major, Eric was reading books about the guru's grace... a sat guru, is a being who has achieved what the Bodhisattva or Buddha has achieved and lives in a human body perhaps or an astral body in all the quantum planes of reality.
NOTE: Quantum mechanics proves one consciousness, and physics has proven parallel reality or in spiritual terms astral planes, it has proven that consciousness is the ground of all being, it creates its one body, the physical universes and all in it. and Lives it all out... This amazing science not only points to this direction, but if you can wrap your mind around this, PROVES IT! Can’t get into that now, do your own research.
Anyway Eric heard that through connecting to a guru, the guru through the oneness, can manifest protection in your life, preventing certain sufferings from happening. So Buddha watched as Eric sat down at his alter, after days of intense anxiety, and prayed, for the first time in his life specifically for protection of himself (which applies to those in his support network). He listens to Krishna Das, a music chanter, and chants some names of God, over and over and over again, Jai Ma, Ram Ram, Hare Krishna, over and over, focusing and intending the prayer to work... after FOUR HOURS, Eric is tired. Buddha smiles, a thinks "Should I (nirvanic oneness) Co-create with Eric, an aura and life of protection.
Buddha thought back to Eric laughing and getting the cosmic joke... Buddha realized that to descrease suffering in all, Buddha must protect Eric, who got the cosmic joke at one point, because someone that can Laugh with God DESERVES a good life.
Buddha calls his Bodhisattvas to his feet.
"What is it my lord" - Says one of the woman Bodhisattvas
Buddha says, "I want you to go to the earth plane and through the oneness, protect Eric from intense suffering, do not enlighten him yet he is not ready, so protect him only to a degree from certain types of suffering so that he may have an overall good life and the bad situations will feel like just enough and will help strengthen him and prepare him for his future enlightenment.
The Bodhisattvas responds as one, "We will do as you say lord, and I have an idea... how about we manifest as a physical object and words in order to stregthen Eric's faith in the protection."
Buddha laughs, "Yes, that was my idea, I AM EVERYTHING!"
The bodhisattvas giggle as Chinese astral women do.
Justin, Eric's friend, a philosophy major who follow the religion of buddhism, is in a new age shop. He is looking around at different buddhist trinkets. The bodhisattvas travel from the astral planes to an in between plane where they interact with the material world. They drop a sprinkle of compassion on Justin and his eyes spot an interesting little card. It has two female bodhisattvas and one male on it for a cheap price. The bodhisattvas then travel into the card and become the card... for those that can see the card has an aura of protection. And yes, it is the SAME Buddha and bodhisattvas from the story…
Justin asks the storekeeper, "What does this mean?"
The storekeeper responds, "These are the Tibetan bodhisattvas of protection. The three sages of Pure land, there are prayers on the back for protection from harm."
Justin buys it and takes it to school.
The boddhisattva card energy enters Justin's brain and he gets the idea to give it to Eric and say this will protect you for life, having no idea about Eric's situation with the condom and that Eric prayed for four hours for protection... Yet he has a feeling, he senses that this is something important to do. Justin walks to the cafeteria for those that live in the dorms... Eric meanwhile tired from prayer gets hungry, but not that hungry... The bodhisattva fly astrally to Eric's consciousness from the card, and plant in the idea inceptionally to go get something to eat RIGHT NOW... Eric leaves his dorm, and walks down the woodsy path to the cafeteria. Justin and Eric arrive in the cafeteria at the same time. Justin with a smirk on his face hands Eric the protection card with the three bodhisattvas and says, "This will protect you for life." Eric is stunned, and receives a powerful energy when he holds the card.
Eric, "Thanks Justin"
Eric keeps the miracle from Justin, until years later when he get back in touch with Justin who confirms that he meant it when he said, “THIS WILL PROTECT YOU FOR LIFE.” Before Eric wondered if he did it as a joke and didn’t mean it, but he did.
The girl never gets pregnant, and Eric's life although still with ups and downs, feels like a protected life, and he feels safe enough to share spiritual energy and physical actions with the oneness (which is all). To be a humble servant.
Buddha laughs, "He stills thinks the protection and energy comes from the card."
Buddha watches, as Eric keeps the card in his wallet or taped to his wall for years, praying to it, staring at it on acid, worshipping it, asking for more protection
and more miracles and so on...
One day, Eric looks at the card, and smiles... He realizes the card was just a symbol and the spiritual power of the bodhisattvas is always with him whether he takes good care of the card or not. His friend Scott who is getting into spirituality gets the card, and Eric says to Scott, "Maybe this will help you like it helps me, it is a card of protection." Scott immediately put the card up on his window...
Guan Yin asks, "What is the moral of this story?"
Buddha, "That is some cases, if the laugh is loud enough, if the compassion is strong enough, if the realationship is devotional enough, God (buddha) (Cosmic
consciousness) will protect his cosmic jokers. And that protection you can give away when another is ready, protection is meant to be shared not hoarded by an individual"
And Eric lived happily ever after on a stairway to heaven, with the bodhisattvas with him every step of the way, protecting him with all thier might and compassion...
as Eric climbs the steps his faiths grows and his fears disappear...
A thousand pranams to Buddha and the graceful manifestations of the bodhisattvas
Dedicated To Justin who gave me the card
