 Cops arrest man for growing hallucinogenic mushrooms at home

Walterboro Police have arrested the man they say is responsible for running a hallucinogenic mushroom-growing operation inside a home.
Officers stumbled upon the operation while responding to a suspicious activity call on Tuesday night.
30-year-old Edward V. Spearman is charged with trafficking in psilocybin. Police say he made arrangements with his attorney before turning himself into authorities on Wednesday.
According to the incident report, officers arrived at a home in the 500 block of Warren Street around 8:30 p.m. after a neighbor's children reported seeing two unfamiliar people exit a home next door.
When police arrived on the scene, the report states that they immediately located several pieces of drug paraphernalia that seemed to have just been used to smoke marijuana.
As police continued their search, they also found about 5 grams of marijuana, according to the report. The search also yielded what appears to be a complex hallucinogenic mushroom-growing operation.
Police said they found a low-slung light and a box that contained three syringes labeled "psilocybin," the active ingredient causing hallucinations in some mushrooms.
The report states that police also found a water pump, several mason jars, a large five-gallon glass jar filled to the top with a brown, transparent liquid, and approximately eight mounds of what appeared to be mold spores.
Additionally, police said they found a bag full of dried mushrooms, more of the brown, transparent liquid, and a fertilizer called vermiculite.
Outside the residence, police said they found 4 logs with several holes drilled in them, which officers believe had previously contained mushrooms.

i live next to people like that they let their kids ride all over the fucking towns thourogh street then they fucking rat off about how they think im affiliated with parked cars on the fucking road
they got better but still fucking weird o_O

What was in the 5 gallon glass jar? That's too big for an LC... And where does one find a 5 gallon glass jar?
Also, it says vermiculite is a fertilizer. A simple google search would show the author of this article otherwise. It's crazy how people just post something as fact without looking into it.

If he gets a good lawyer he can beat that, my friend had something similar happen to his residence and got the charge thrown out.
