If more than a day or two I fridge 'em. We do mostly liqui culture and I store syringes in a big ziploc in the lettuce drawer. Every couple weeks I lysol out the drawer too. I have read that they keep in water in the fridge for a year well enough...

A FOAF had a syringe of PRs that sat in a dark drawer for 7 months before they were used and they worked quite nicely indeed. Also worth mentioning that this was in the upstairs bedroom of a non-AC'd house through an entire summer.
Spores are some pretty resilient little bastards.

The best option is in the fridge...some have lasted several years, I have seen one left in a garage for more than a year that was still viable...so the answer is.... Kramer knows it all....I know he gave george that answer.....
