 How quickly do you contact someone after a date?

How quickly do you contact someone after a date? Pretty simple question.
Do you follow any rules like wait three days? If it went well do you just txt them the next day? Do you just feel it out and do what seems best?

If you just met them, had an okay date but didn't feel completely at ease with them yet, wait a few days.
If you two hit it off right away, busted up laughing a lot, agreed to hang out again soon, text her the next day with some jokes or something bud.

Who cares about waiting seriously, if I like him I won't care. If I don't like him, he didn't have a chance anyway.
Just don't get all super lusty, lovey, serious type right away when contacting her. Keep it fun, flirty, funny, she'll want to hang out again soon if she likes you anyway.

Well i want ahead and txed her, but she didn't reply.
I feel like if i hit her up again that could be seen as annoying. I don't like when people keep txting me because i don't reply. But sometimes txts get buried and i never reply.
I think i'll prolly txt her tomorrow. It seems pretty obvious she likes me atleast a little, i kissed her on the cheek and then she went for a kiss on the lips. It would be weird if she did that and wasn't interested.
This is the first chick i've seen since my last relationship, which turned into a horrible one. The chick i was with had a lot of problems and attempted suicide last summer. The whole thing really bummed me out and i got put through a lot of challenging situations over the course of knowing her. I really cared about her, but in the end i just got really hurt.

We did talk after i left, she told me she'd be up.
I don't really follow any "rules" in relationships. But i wonder if other people do. She seems like a really sweet girl and i hope things work out. My last relationship almost buried me.

Thats what i've been keeping to so far. I just haven't dated in so long i tend to second guess things.

Me too, but if it doesn't i guess thats just how its supposed to be.
We have a lot of things in common. I'm pretty shy, but shes much more shy. Both of our exs winded up getting too clingy & doing cocaine.
