Drug lab set up at Ontario's Durham College
University courses may not have been enough for one Oshawa college student. A break and entry at a student's residence led to a larger crime being discovered -- a small drug lab.
According to Durham Regional Police, officers were at the residence on Friday after a break and entry was reported. No residents were at the scene when the police entered the residence at the Avenue of Champions at the Durham College/UOIT campus in north Oshawa. One of the six bedroom doors appeared to have been forcibly entered. During the investigation officers discovered a small drug lab in one of the students rooms.
The Drug Enforcement Unit obtained a search warrant and seized marijuana, two Ecstasy tablets, some MDMA powder, magic mushrooms and several litres of an unidentified substance, currently being analyzed. Police also found unidentified powders, weigh scales and packaging.
In the common area a television and video game was stolen. It is not known what was taken from the room where the drug lab was.
Simon Barrie, 20, has been charged with possession of marijuana, possession of psilocybin (magic mushrooms), possession of MDMA and production of marijuana.

Cant believe what that bastard did, Broke into my room spread these drugs all over and worse he set up a "lab" in my room, thats just sick-He could use the robert downey defense-

wow, what a bad situation. sounds like a dramatization. "drug lab" when almost all the substances found are in minute quantities???
