What's up everyone?
I'm relatively new to psychedelics.
Day or night tripping, on shrooms. I was wondering which you preferred and why? Pros and cons of each.

Night only for me, it's dark and the visuals are better. Plus when you're done tripping you crash out. The day is awful, to bright, and you'll be up to long after tripping. I wont day trip...

EDIT: I like to trip in the daytime. I have kind of negative look on life most of the time. When I'm tripping, I like a nice warm day to go outside and see the beautiful side of the world. Remember your sunglasses.

just from experience, i would say day.
the only time i have had an uncomfortable/bad trip was during the night, but thats just me
just go into it feeling good and it wont really matter

Day for me. The world is so vibrant and alive, perfect time to explore.
Night trips are more for introspection IMO.

definitely night. it's so mysterious and just seems to fit psychedelics so well. hanging out by a fire, under the moon, maybe get a drum circle going... oh daddy

if you really can't decide on day or night just eat the shrooms like an hour and a half before sunset so you can experience both

For me it depends upon what I want out of it.
If I'm just trying to see things in a different frame of mind, I'm a daytripper, usually out hiking in the woods.
If I'm looking to do some inner searching and want to really get out there. At night. I usually don't trip at night to much any more as I have a couple young cats that have too much energy to be around. It really takes away from the experience.

yah dude, it's nice to take a lower dose and roam the woods during the day. like you said, night time is when you travel to space. looking up at the stars and moon, feeding off the cosmic energy. god i can't wait for summer

Ive only tripped during night. I like blacklights and colorful things. Which doesnt usually happen during day. Or maybe i just dont go out enough

thanks again for the replies everyone!
I've tripped once on a low dose of shrooms, but i was in a room the whole time and stayed up to see the early sunlight, which was fine.
On LSD, i've tripped twice on a high dose during the night and once on a medium dose during the day.
i really don't know when to take them tomorrow lol. decisions, decisions.
I'm probably going to take them a couple of hours before sun-down like a poster advised me above. great idea, dude. thanks!

I always shroom during the day during school hours. Everyone is at work or school. And if its shrooming weather I doubt people will b in the field

Only ever tripped at night. But tripping at night AND being outdoors is a hell of a lota fun. I got stuck in my backyard once just staring at clovers in the grass.
Turned out to be my most memorable and spiritual experiences yet.
Side note: go for a walk at night and stare at trees, so much fun.

Preferably I like to start around 5pm or when the sun is setting so then the trip will end and it'll be bedtime

night tripping, very set and setting depended compared to day tripping, usually more exciting for me seeing bright lights and stars contrast with the dark, but also scarier. yes, i'm still afraid of the dark

I prefer dosing 30 minutes or so before sunset. When you begin to feel the affects it is as if your body and mind are being brought into a different world.
My favorite is going up to a hot springs in the mountains and being in the warm water while looking up at the milky way framed by the tall tree's. Ahhh nothing quite beats that.

As long as you have good friends around there is no need to be afraid of the dark.

I've only trip during the day and I have to say that daytripping is a near fool-proof way to have an awesome trip. I recommend hiking up to a nice spot that overlooks the area. Nature just opens up to you and everything becomes alive. The colors are crisp and vivid, and the sun, provided its not too hot out, feels incredible. Smoke a bowl here and there and be amazed by the visuals. A recipe for success!
