wow this thread was broughth back up.
me being closer to nakusp then most of you, i should call the newspaper and see if they ever got a autopsy result.

That would be really cool if they could give you the final autopsy and toxicology reports.

I know this is an old post, but this has apparently has happened before. In the NAMA Thirty-Plus Years of Mushroom Poisoning PDF, mentions a quadriplegic who ate an uncertain amount of Psilocybe cubensis, suffered an allergic reaction and died.
And not really related, but they also mentions someone who attempted to commit suicide by eating Agaricus californicus and lived...and another who tried the same with oysters.
