Looking good man. Just patch those spots so you can get a very even pinset. Once it hits about 80-90%, i would throw it in the fruiting chamber. This will give you smaller chances of Overlay. Keep us updated on pictures. Peace

Your casings should not be exposed to light during casing colonisation. You should wait untill your casing layer is appropriately colonised before exposing to light.
The advice of the others is good.
I would start the fruiting cycle on the casing to the right. I prefer several medium fruits to a sea of smaller fruits. By patching you will encourage an even flush, but you will see a ton of smaller fruits.

Thanks all for the advise, he is as of this weekend building a second grow chamber to start casings on eq's and kc's, The only thing he worries about is should he build a third. he can use one for colonizing, and two for fruiting, he does have a fear of covering his cases during colonization though as last time it was disasterouse, but any tips on this should help also.!!

Well his last casing was a total failure it is in this same log, look up had a bad case of cobweb, and one of the reasons was to high humidity and the other was a dodgy jar he used, also prompted him to switch to coco coir and he likes it so far, but enough of that. he has built a new chamber almost exact specs as the last minus the bubbler, will have to wait on that, and as it is a combo chamber, meaning he can incubate and fruit in the same chamber he is going to start his other projects in there, look for his other log to get pics and details,(will be tomarrow) And as per pf tech he will be covering for incubation after casing, and he has decided to let the others, namely these in this thread go as they are, we will see how it goes. Whenever my friend uses blue tubs for some reason he gets a lot of pins on the bottom and sides of his cakes also. I think the light may be filtering through the blue plastic and encouraging pinning. He has since covered the tubs in foil and has not encountered this problem anymore.
