My friend recently quit smokin herb..  but i was fortunate enough to snag his bong up for $5.. i could'nt turn it down.. i bought a new glass bowl for it so it hits like a champ.. even though its plastic..

it was a steal for 5 bucks, your lucky.. ive had a few bongs but they all came and went... one was taken by the cops and the other
broke so now im left with no bong... in order for me to get another one, i would have to hitch a train which is like 7 and then pay 40 bucks for an overpriced
acrylic bong... so consider yourself lucky

i cant afford a glass bong so i want to get i 12" one like yours.. just a straight acrylic bong... let the resin just build up in the bong part.
not the stem though... i had a friend whos bong was like 2 inches wide and half the diameter was covered in thick resin on the inside..
he didnt clean it for years but it definately got me higher then ever... after he clean it he got like a nice pile of greenish- dark brown resin

damn, I wish I had a working camera so I could line up all my bongs and take a picture
In the house, we've got 3 store-bought's (small amber-coloured glass mini-houka with a nice big wooden bowl, nice black acrylic one with hand-grips and such, and one of those cheap little mini-bongs with the rubber hose coming off the top), and a slew of home-made ones (big 2-man made out of a big cranberry-juice bottle and two small coke bottles on the side, a dual-chamber made from two coke bottles, a crazy one with a small coke bottle inside a big one, with 4 hoses sticking out the sides (looks like a rocket ship), one made out of a metal bottle from some drink called Tabu, and some strange one made from some tubing found at a home depot). There's too many goddamn pipes laying around to count...
Oh yea, and to top it all of, a nice little red vaporizer

I just broke my $180 dollar bong last week when i was drunk. DAMN IT, i am still mad about that. I am going to wait until hempfest to buy a new one.

My friend has one of those bongs, they're definitly good considering it's acrylic. With those, the most important part is having a decent slide, and a sealed airway. With those piece of shit metal slides that come with the acrylic bongs, you need to keep repacking like 3 bowls till I feel stoned.

My purple bong was not 5$, it was 35$. Not too bad, put still overpriced. My two pipes didn't cost more than 25$ apiece

Where can one find such cheap bongs? My current situation sounds almost exactly the same as danlennon3 - I'm in dire need of a new bong, but I really don't want to pay over 30-40
