I was skeptical about buying this game because I heard about so many different bugs and shit that fucked your saves up but really the only bugs I've experienced was at random times that when I'd crouch my hands and guns get a distorted or doors won't open after a few tries. Hardly something to ruin a great game though. I love how you actually feel more involved with the shaping of the world instead of your choices all coming down to the same thing, makes you feel more involved. There is alot here that makes this game 10x better than Fallout 3. The addition of iron sights and being able to mod your weapons to your liking is a great addition. The biggest problem I have with hardcore mode is that you have to find a bed which is a big pain in the ass when you are suffering from sleep deprivation, makes you not even want to wander far from your normal shelter, they should have added something where you can carry a sleeping roll with you. Maybe that'll have to be a mod for the PC. Another problem I have here is that New Vegas lacks the exploration fun Fallout 3 had. Instead of walking around feeling worried what might be hiding in the next delapidated building and exploring for something new as far as guns and ammo go you mostly find civilization which is good but bad at the same time.

Shit I got it for Christmas too, my girlfriend bought me it. It is a very fun game to just play and explore in. I'm not nearly done with it. Right now I'm just seeing if I can play every side against each other and maybe become the leader of everything.
