I keep my fully colonized gras seed jars in my incubator and see some sclerotia forming. should I place them outside my incubator for better results or expose the jars to light?

No light means better sclero formation. Higher humidity and light and lower temps make pins. Peace Flat

you want to drop the temp to room temp for sclerotia formation - keep them dark, but stop incubating soon as you have full colonization. You shouldn't have much problem with pins forming too soon people have very hard times fruiting these.

They do pin invitro if verm is mixed in with the rye for shakeability. It is rare, but does happen if light and an inert ingredient is added. Peace Flat
