Careful with the self diagnosis. When you start thumbing through the symptoms of pretty much any disorder, you're going to end up coming across quite a few that seem to hit home for you.

Hmm, maybe I should explain what I mean by "bullshit."
When I refer to mental disorders as that, I regard it in the physical sense that most of the patients have no underlying chemical imbalance or irregularity. Yes, there is certainly something wrong with them, but the whole array of clinical analysis and treatment used is completely moronic in that it tries to fix something physical. These people have trapped themselves within their own mind. It is discord with their left/right brain functioning that causes schizophrenic symptoms, and all that needs to be done is realign the two. This is where psychedelics usually would come in...
The same would go for pretty much any other mishap that an individual gains along the way. Self-treatment is the best and, in my opinion, only treatment for mental disorders.

The media has defined 'crazy' for you, and it's made it so vague that anyone acting abnormal is pretty much crazy. Probably another way to control you with fear. It's because if you knew your true power as a spiritual being, as the UNIVERSE incarnate and not Jesus, their whole pathological little control game goes down the drain.
I've been in a psychiatric institution and no one thought they were Jesus reincarnate. In fact there was only one guy making noise and he was still on his LSD trip it seemed. You'd be surprised how easy it is to act or imagine their problems in yourself.
It's all in your hands. These psychiatric problems are just the symptoms, as has been said, of living in an insane society.

Why so serious? They're imagining the problem and they asked for it. There is no chaos or randomness in the universe, unless you put it there. All they have to do is snap out of it. Everything that happened to them that led to their current states was in their imagination. They're still imagining it happened, they merely have to stop.
I'm sorry if it's hard for you. I'm trying to make it easier. My brother is schizophrenic (hearing voices) and I've seen him turn most of the symptoms around simply by making him happy.

Sorry circaste, I have enjoyed a lot of your posts, but you are just wrong here man.
Not everybody can just "snap out" of their delusions.
When I was in drug counseling, the woman running the group told me about a guy who killed his wife and two kids because he thought he was Jesus.
Think about that for a second man...You can't just snap out of that shit
At best, you are extrapolating your own experience with mental abnormality to all of humanity. That's a very dangerous leap to make

I would probably define is as some developmental or structural disorder in the brain, or as some reversion to a more primitive consciousness in which men perceived their subconscious as orders which they had to follow - before we developed what we now consider free will. Regardless, I fail to see what point you are trying to make here. Are you saying that mental illness doesn't exist? and if so, do you really think that opinion is defensible? If anything, it shows that you live a highly sheltered life

Read my other posts before you accuse me of being sheltered. But I'm not taking your definition either way, I completely lost attention at the mention of that "free will" bullshit.
I'm not saying that it doesn't exist. I'm saying that the way people are examining it is causing more suffering and intolerance to a simple cure. Take for example the schizophrenic patients that were given DMT during the 60's. One of the patients actually recalled her mother having a hemorrhage when she was a small child, yet the doctors paid absolutely no attention to this astronomical reaction.

Some medicine does work. depends on what you do exactly. But if you can keep it to yourself. do it!. It will help you in the end. and dont start thinking your crazy, otherwise it will get worse. trust this stranger.

i've come to the same conclusion myself, thank you man. i've decided all i really need to do is learn how to treat myself like the beautiful special person i am.. lol. learn balance, moderation, it's really not that hard! thanks for the positive words

Hey, everyone's crazy. They're either all really good at hiding it, or don't care.
And I've had my share of paranoid delusions that I couldn't snap myself out of. It's definitely hard, and I can't deny the presence of crappy genetics, but I got myself out of it. I consider myself lucky.
