Cyan stem color (Good pics included)

I'm wondering if cyan stems are always very white. I have very thick stemmed wavy caps and the stems are a little darker than the pictures I can find.

Notice the third pic, the stem is peeling like string cheese. Good sign I think.
I have tons more where that came from. They are very wavy before I pick them. I felt pretty sure I had scored but I see a lot of very white stems in pics. I can't tell what else these could be? I found them in the puget sound area so it seems like a perfect match.
Are they just bruised? I picked them in the dark and didn't get a chance to see them until I got home. By then they had been hurriedly grabbed, stuffed into a bag, and driven home in my trunk. The pics look like it's just bruising.
Also what's the difference between cyanescens and cyanifricosas (sp?)

These do not look like cyanescens to me at all. The bulb on the base is strange. The color change of the stem is likley from spores. Who knows I could be wrong.

I don't think that is a Psilocybe, it could be closer to Leptonia.
What is the spore print color? Can you get some pics of it growing in its habitat?

That does not appear to be a psilocybe. Better description is needed for actual i.d....and yes, unless severely bruised or dirty, p. cyanescens stems are very white.

I think the thread was titled hopefully but I'll change it if I'm wrong.

Unless you only ever encounter shit cyans then the word "Severely" is a rather extream word to use for the bruising of the stems.... Cyans bruise (often heavily) with little (if any) contact very easily... sometimes just exposure to the air is enough, other times as the mushroom matures... either way these mushrooms are rarely encounted bruise free.

What are "shit cyans"??
You mean Psilocybe cyanescens that grow from cow or horse manure? Because they definitely do not.

Cyan is short for Psilocybe Cyanescens... and why would you even say they grow from manure???

I guess the word, severely is way too extream to be encounted. Sighhhh. Perhaps what I should have said is Quote:
compared to other mushrooms, P. cyanescens stems appear very white and will readily bruise blueish. When heavily (synonomous with severely for fucks sake) bruised it will turn dark blue to blueish-black. Also, when they are very dirty it would be difficult to detect the whitish color.
Furthermore, P. cyanescens does NOT often bruise from exposure to air alone. They will turn only slightly blueish upon aging or exposure, but will remain an overall whitish color until handled or molested. And I have never encountered a "shit cyan"
Oh, and upon viewing your other post, freddurgan, as others have noted, those mushrooms do appear to be Armillaria sp. (honey mushrooms).
