 Mixing Shrooms with Meds?

I have had OCD for about 3 years now, and have been on Zoloft for about 2 1/2 years. I also use seroquel to calm me down and get me to sleep. About 8 months ago, I started taking wellbutrin with the zoloft. My OCD has really subsided and I am feeling much better about life. I really want to try mushrooms, because i've heard they bring out your inner problems, so maybe I can find out what is troubling me so much. I've come here to ask you about the effects of taking mushrooms with OCD, and on Anti Depressants. I even went as far to ask my doctor, and by the way he explained stuff I could tell he had no clue. my first hint he had no idea was when he said mushrooms were highly addictive. He said that taking mushrooms may completely cancel out what my meds are doing for me. Is this true? If so, is it permanent? Any information provided will be greatly appreciated, as I really want to try shrooms, but I feel like these meds are holding me back, with a fear something might react.

I used Seroquel with mushrooms and Lsd, of course I stopped the meds a day or two before, and I am still alive.
Zoloft is a SSRI which interacts with Serotonin and Mushrooms work on Serotonin to an extent. I'd let the Zoloft exist the body, 2 days before doing it.

I don't think Wellbutrin or Seroquel should have any effect on shrooms.
The Zoloft, however, will compete for the same sites that the psilocin/psilocybin is trying to bind to. Basically, it will prevent you from tripping (or force you to take a really high dose in order to trip).
IMHO, you should consider if taking shrooms is such a good idea when you are on two antidepressant medications and one antipsychotic medication. Maybe when you're in a state where you're only taking one of these medications... But this just seems a little foolhardy.
To answer your question though, the shrooms probably will not cancel out what the medications are doing for you and will not do any permanent damage.

Ya, meds like SSRIs are supposed to prevent trips.
As for shrooms and OCD though, yes, they definitely improve OCD noticeably. At the very least, during the actual trip. Lasting effects are commonly reported too and I certainly find myself not doing a few minor (but very very annoying at times) repetitive things that I used to often do before about a month ago. Dunno about anything more significant yet... but who knows what might happen in the future.
I personally never noticed Prozac making a difference either way though. Maybe Zoloft would've been different but I never tried it.

Would it make a difference if I stopped all meds for 2 days? What's the worst that could happen mixing shrooms with these meds and stuff?

You are supposed to taper slowly off Zoloft. It takes a long time to leave your system, and immediate cessation will give you withdrawal symptoms.
Skipping one dose would probably help (a little), but I would not stop taking it for 2 days.
Either way, you're going to require a higher dose of shrooms (1.5 - 2 times if I had to guess) to get high.
