 Legalizing Marijuana? No...Do better.

Im all for legalizing marijuana, but we are jumping too far ahead of ourselves. I smoke pot everyday, im sure you do too if your reading this. Is there a way to suggest a prop in the poll system?
I want to vote that Marijuana be analyzed and tested for harmful effects.
Let me clear this up. I know what I know about marijuana. But I want marijuana testing to take up channels on my TV. Right before its legalized.
What can I do as a smoker?
Im sure marijuana can be studied, As a smoker I know it effects my mind in a different way that it effects yours. I want to know what marijuana enhances and what it dulls. Im really interested in learning more about what damage can be done to a life long marijuana smoker.

check this link, i think it should answer most of your effects questions. however, as far as the subjective reaction to cannabis intake goes, i can't give you too many answers. maybe someone can post something more worthwhile, though.

Well, just like were voting for prop 19 to pass. Is there a way to get our voices heard if we wanted marijuana to be fully tested??

That way there can be marijuana commercials letting us know about how healthy weed really is.

prop 19 isn't going to pass, which is the first problem
second problem is that it that the long term health effects aren't important, the main point is personal justice. there are plenty of drugs we can take no legally that cause adverse health effects, POT should be one of them.
the third problem is that the reason it wont be passed is because there are people that are on the fence, or potsmokers that refuse to vote for the bill, its a total facepalm to california

not really, welcome to democracy. 
that's not entirely true, but the possible ways you would do it seem much harder than signing a petition or writing a rambling email. however, if you're willing to put a shit-ton of elbow grease and likely wasted effort, you could start some grassroots organization or something. you're attacking the wrong end. politicians are elected to perpetuate whatever paradigm they ran on, and those who tend to have pro-cannabis views are overshadowed by those who don't.
so, don't go for the figureheads. try to change the people who elect them. 
you've got to start a movement. good luck, you'll need it.
