oyster coral-like pins?

Hi there everyone! I am new to the shroomery, and fairly new to mushroom growing, so please be patient with me. So, this is my first attempt at oysters - these are pearl oysters - and while browsing the forums here I came upon some posts about coral-like and bat-like pinheads. Looking at all those pictures, I've decided that mine *do* look like that, but on a-whole-nother level. It's a little hard to see in the pics below (not the best camera and I've got no idea why the second one came out so orange) but it's almost like I've got coral growing on top of other coral. I've increased the FAE and the light, so I am now wondering if someone more experienced could tell me if this "problem" is: a) actually that big of a problem, b) what to do to prevent this in the future, c) if they will correct themselves now that the environmental conditions are better, and d) do I need to pull these off and fry them in tempura batter or can I just let them grow? Thank you in advance very much for your time and expertise!

Oysters require much more light and fresh air than cubes. If you have them in a fruiting chamber, leave the lid off and/or fan several times per day or more. RR

Oysters need a ridiculous amount of air exchange and yours need much more air too.
Note that these pins growed in high c02 so they will grow with long stem even if you give them more FAE. Next flush will grow normal if the FAE is high enough.
Happy growing and welcome to the shroomery !

Oh and for your specific questions:
A) the problem is that the delicious part in oyster is located in the cap. You will have a nice meaty cap if the temp is low enough, if you have sufficient light and if they have a lot of FAE.
B) increase air exchange and keep them moist by misting often
C) they will still have a long stem even if you increase your Fae now. But they still can grow almost correctly if they get proper air exchange. Not as perfect as if they had proper air exchange since the beginning but you will have something to eat.
D) i can't help you with this. I just don't know whats the best idea in this case. In my opinion you can still get nice fruits a this stage of development if you correct the air exchange. I'm not sure if you will have such a nice pinset if you remove them all and prepare for flush number 2

They are choked on CO2, the tub collects it. Turn your tub on it's side so it can drain the CO2.
CO2 is heavier than air, it pools.
If the lid is a pretty loose fit you can just clip it on and fan/mist like 4 or 5 times a day. If you live somewhere nice it's best off outside, but keep misting.
Keep the tub on it's side, they look well grown in they should stay put.
Did you ever notice everything is in 3D? I mean WTF? who gives a damn about 3D TV? My SHIT! is in 3D and I don't invite my friends over to watch it!?!?!?
If the side thing craps out put it flat again and drill a few holes at substrate level to drain the CO2. (Like holes just above the level it is filled to) and tuck some poly in the holes....I'm not even gonna explain it, it needs to be done.

yes prop tub up on side facing light and you will be fine.

hey kelfio ,
I had this exact problem on my first oyster grow. If the temperatures are right (45-70 degrees fahrenheit is good), you should move them outside to a garden or foliage-rich area. Make sure they get watered/wet daily...
You'll have soo many oysters, you wont know what to do with them.

Pull off the coral pin clusters and let it pin again properly once you've got your lighting worked out. RR

Thanks everyone I really appreciate the help - I'm setting up a newly designed fruiting chamber this weekend following all of your recommendations and other examples I've found on this site. I will let you all know how it goes.
