My ayahuasca trip......

i got sum.. went out into a forest at night, sat on my sleeping bag, downed it, and waited. i didn't throw up like alota people do.
it kicks in, i feel things take a turn for the darkness rite away... i sit up and start saying "our fathers", but it's coming out so incredibly fast it sounds like i'm speaking in tongues. I stand up and look around, and i can see with my eyes dead people in every direction. tons of them, sitting next to every tree. the whole forest is filled with dead people. i start power walking out of there, as i am very frightened, but not as frightened as i should have been, and for some reason i'm telling them all that "i'm so sorry, i'm sorry, I'm very sorry, i'm so sorry". I get out of the forest and run to my friends dorm room, where a bunch of other kids hold a sacred space for me and i eventually pass out.
yeah... it was fuckin crazy. i feel like they wanted my help. i didn't feel like they were suppressed parts of my subconscious, they felt separate from I.
i found a shaman via google that is gonna let me apprentice him in peru for 600$ a month....
somebody post something in this thread worth reading

although he could use your money.. i dont think you need a shaman take it again.. and again.. until you learn. if learning is what you want to do.
try being indoors this time
also.. i would very much like to know what it is that you 'downed'. did you drink it ? was it a pill ? what ? if you did drink it.. do you know what plants were used to make the drink ? this is important to know , because theres a lot of nonsense going around that people pass of as ayahuasca.

it was legit stuff, my homey made it himself and he's a biochemist or somethin major, so he knows his shit for sure. he's all over the specifics and i just trusted him. i didn't try to communicate with them beside the fact i was telling them all "i'm sorry" as i left them. anyway yeah i found a shaman on peruhealing.com that i'm gonna go apprentice for a month... i'll keep yall updated. apparently this guy helps out lost spirits like i believe i contacted all the time.

most of the "medicine men" are sorcerers of brujios and they feed off of others power which is easier to access during trips where the soul is exposed. You need to do some more research and find a legit shaman. Those that have web pages are dangerous and in it for profit.
Just sayin

What i meant was - many people refer to an maoi mixed with a dmt containing plant as ayahuasca. This is not the case and its one of the most common misconceptions. Ayhuasca IS the Banisteriopsis Caapi. aya means "spirit" while huasca or waska means "vine".
It is this vine that is know for thinning the veil between the spiritual and material world , while the dmt containing plant is normally added in small amounts and it is said that it serves only to bring colors to the ayahuasca visions. Some devoted drinkers do not even use the additive and drink strait brews made only from the vine or caapi leaves.
This is why i asked what it was exactly that you 'downed'
If you didn't use caapi , i would be more inclined to believe that you experienced something similar to a hypnogogic hallucination caused by the dmt levels in your brain being increased.
If you did drink a caapi brew , it really is up to you to find out the meaning of the vision. Although i am leaving the possibility for the objectivity of what you experienced , i will add that not all ayahuasca visions are meant to be interpreted literally.
It is a very powerful teacher and uses many tricks to get you into a state where it is the easiest to impart knowledge or information pertaining to healing , be it physical , mental .. or spiritual.
In the end , what you choose to do next cannot be a mistake. Experience itself is the greatest teacher of them all.

jivjan are you suggesting that the DMT effect is just chemical but the Caapi vine effect is spiritual?

Not really , no.
This is the idea basically and im not sharing my personal opinion , just what is commonly understood among people that drink what is called the 'traditional ayahuasca'. When you drink the caapi brew , you get into contact with the spirit of the vine. This vine is also sometimes called the vine of the dead. It is an maoi so in order to drink it on a regular basis you have to have a very low tyramine diet and avoid caffeine ,alcohol n basically a bunch of other shit..
Often people that drink ayahuasca regularly will use very small amounts of the dmt containing plant if they use any. This causes the experience of a dream. you lay back.. and you pass out , jumping into what i can only describe as the vividest lucid dream , entirely organized and orchestrated for you by the plant itself. where as dreaming by yourself will be an experience where you are the one pulling the strings behind the scenes , so to speak.
