Possibly a Psathyrella?
Habitat: Found in groups of clusters, growing from soil or clay (possibly from buried wood, although I didn't witness any wood) under pine.
Pileus: 2-3cm broad, convex, red-brown to creamy, smooth, striate margin. Flesh thin, creamy. Fragile.
Lamellae: Adnate to adnexed?, crowded, chocolate brown? (dark brown)
Stipe: 2.25-3.25cm long, .2-.3cm wide, creamy?, smooth, equal, slightly enlarged at the base of some, hollow. Fragile.
Spore print: Appears purple-brown on the other caps, but I'm printing them now.

Any idea of what species it might be?....or is that a ridiculous question due to the many species in this genus?
