Go ahead and say "but if they legalize it, kids will get marijuana" and what, not die, or is alcohol the safer legal alternative to marijuana?

That's a pretty bias comment cause Alcohol is a Depressant Intoxicant and Marijuana is a Psychedelic. We all know they are totally different drugs, the only thing that supports Alcohol is that it's the ultimate "fun and party" drug and has a very long history of accepted and widespread human use used in celebrations of any sort.
It is extremely uncommon to meet someone who hasn't drunk alcohol. It just so happens that is it an extremely powerful drug and if you can't control yourself, you are taking risks every time you start drinking.
