Whenever I am on on shrooms or lsd I feel like I am myself at my highest potential. Im more intune with my spirit and completly free of my inhibitions.I am a much better conversationist, I am more confident, and I notice and observe more things about myself and other people. The things that are hard for me while Im sober seem so effortless when on shrooms or lsd. Is this just the drug or is this the true me? Has anyone else experienced this before?

I know exactly what you mean man. I experience that often.
I'm going to say its the drug making you feel like that, but everyone has the potential to make themselves what they want to be. I have no doubt that you can feel those same feelings sober. Of course its much easier when tripping though.
Mushrooms/LSD completely open yourself up and I believe can take you to your highest level.

Mushies just make me have trouble doing anything in general, even eating, the comedown however makes me feel how you describe.

oh yea thats the true you alright. this is actually how i feel when i am completely sober, not just from drugs but from anger, lust, and all the bullshit that makes one ignore the very core of your being. you can bring this state out anytime you want, it is always their. all you have to do is come to a certain realization about yourself. what i used to do is i would sit down in a quiet place, and think about the feelings, or thoughts, i would have while on mushies or san P, this would instantly bring me to a peaceful state, or a more awakened state. you can do this any time in your daily activities. for example let say i get angry at someone, and instead of acting on it i first think to myself, "what would my true self do" and instantly you will see that it is wrong and selfish to be angry. basically the more you remind yourself of your true self, the more your true self will shine, naturally.

shrooms make me look at the world in a beautiful way, makes me feel positive, gives me a crazy body high and makes me think of all the opportunities and people out there living a life like i am. usually has a period of extreme sadness and brings me back up at the very end.
lsd/lsa makes me look at everything a little strangely, the pointlessness of some processes, the awkward situations and feelings i reflect on are a bit magnified, and i see a clear path towards what i want, what i'm willing to wait for.

We are drugs, skin bags of unfolding chemistry. molecules, enzymes, neurotransmitters... Look at how many drugs are naturally occurring in our body. These things are only activating whats already there..because, for some mysterious reason, these molecules mimic brain chemistry and fit right into our receptor sites. The trip isn't in the drug, its in your head.

You can attain this while sober at all times, practice and stay sober until you attain it.

Thanks for that tip. I will be working with this and think there is something to it. It's like retraining or reprogramming your brain and mind.

I feel the same way after a few glasses of wine or a light dose of shrooms. I'm friendly, kind, and lose the edge. It's not the real me. I'm just high and my brain is giddily racing and making connections between ideas that don't necessary need connecting.
