As far as your experience I would say you smoked DMT N-oxide. Not only because of the dark nature but because "SWIM took 1 deeeeep hit of tan/orange/brown dmt wax
There was also dark brown/black dmt resin puddles glazed on the inside of the pipe.."

Wash your DMT and smoke in a clean pipe and I assure you the experience will be a lot different.

After more research on my end, it sounds a lot like 5-MeO-DMT too....

I have never knowingly and willingly smoked 5 Meo, but from what I found on these threads, there are some close similarities between 5meo dmt and the effects I felt:

-Lack of stunning, clear, vivid, dmt visuals.
No patterns, no geometry whatsoever, and definitely no colors.  Just blackness and faint moving kaleidescopes like the ones you see when you push your hands against your eyes. I definitely "saw" things, but it was more like I "thought" or "imagined" them, rather than being able to actually watch a visual reality unfold before my two observing eyes in 3D space with depth like I have on nn DMT.

-Very disorienting
It was similar to my Salvia experiences... Not only did I lose complete sense of where I was, but I also lost complete sense of the ability to sense where one would be.  It was like my mind was being thrashed around in dark washing mashine... my mind twisting and turning into things I had no comprehension of.
This is very different from my good experiences on DMT, where I am fully aware of what I can see and am able to process it with clear thoughts.

-Extreme physical discomfort
This experience violently ripped me apart.  I also feel significantly warmer, even hot.  And the vomitting... was like I was being forced inside out through my mouth.
The only body load I get on good ol DMT is a freefalling sensation (weightlessness or energy condensing towards the upper half of body) when the vibration and ringing start, and then during the trip I feel a flowing, loving life energy.  Sometimes also a feeling like a massage.

-Terrifying
No feelings of truth, no loving spirits, no friendly deities, not even a 'neutral' zone with geometric patterns.  Just nightmare after nightmare after bad memories that I don't even know if they are real memories or not.  The thought that I was overdosing on hardcore drugs repeated endlessly.

-Comedown
After the experience, I had no residual patterns and my vision was very cloudy. 
This is very different than my good DMT comedowns, where I still have friendly residual patterns slowly fading away... and then my vision is SUPER CLEAR.  Like glare is gone completely and EVERYTHING LOOKS SO CRISP IT IS GREAT.

I have had two "unpleasant" DMT experiences, and the rest have all been superb.

i am really interested in your bad memories you had that you say you dont know if they were real or not.

Its giving me Deja Vu, like that happened to me before or something.

Your saying during the trip you remembered/experienced some old traumatic events that were probably seemed terrifying and you thought they were just suppressed memories and then you started wondering if you were just tripping and they never even happened at all??

Like can you specifically remember what memories you are talking about now or did you forget about them after the trip went away?

If you remember these bad memories you  were experiencing in the trip, you should be able to reflect back on them and try to really think about it if it really happened or not , no?

My "Bad" DMT trip was very similar in the fact you keep thinking negative things. I would think why am i doing this why is everything so dark evil and negative  but I just couldnt stop the dark thought loops and you wonder if it will go on for eternity.

Also I had the feeling that I had completely fucked "reality" up, by hitting the DMT pipe. Like for everyone. I really believed for a bit that me hitting the DMT pipe had altered our deminsion somehow. I was thinking welp Im gonna have to go tell me family I fucked up and screwed reality up when I come down.

Another funny thing is my dark DMT trip began with "nasty noises" too conjuring up bad images. I was maybe getting alittle sick at the time so after I hit it I coughed up some nasty shit out of my throat a couple times at the start of the trip, and thats what started the whole dark disgusting evil thought process...

At one point I thought I was watching TV. Alien writing scrolled across the screen then it flipped to some channel showing space and streams flowing and shit with some trippy ass mucic and some voice telling the secrets of the universe. Later when I came too my TV was off.

Also I saw some nasty little fetus disgusting creature laying in my hall on the ground (if I really got up and walked in my hall or if this was all in my head I do not know) and I kept thinking this shit is real omg... Just confirmed my suspicions I had sucked the DMT hyperspace into our reality and had to tell everyone.

I also thought I had gone schitzo for a while.

Every other DMT experience has been absolutely beautiful though, so it didnt scare me off, just teach me to be more careful about what im hitting

Anyway, nice story man  and if you want respond about the repressed memories things I am intrigued.
