Coincidence. However with his original placing of the timeline, novelty went thru the roof and 'time ended' or however you want to word it in November of 2012. It wasn't until he adjusted it just a smidgeon when Dec 21 2012 lined up.
True. But it's worth pointing out that after he adjusted it, the rest of the novelty/time graph lined up even better than it did in the first place. Weird how a man taking psilocybin mushrooms can come to the same conclusion as an ancient civilization. Were the Mayans involved with mushrooms too? Very interesting stuff anyway.
Yeah that's exactly what I wonder. How did they come to that conclusion? Was it through shamanic experiences, psychedelics, random bs, dreams? Also, I've heard TM a few times quote some ancient stuff written about the I-Ching, stuff that nobody has really understood before his novelty theory about "the forward running numbers go into the past, and the backwards running numbers go into the future". Fascinating shit all around

I donno about TM, but the whole Mayan 2012 thing is mostly bogus, it's just a calendar they used, not inspired by anything...

their calendar was also way ahead of it's time as far as accuracy and complexity. their civilization prided itself upon it's knowledge of time. the fact that TM's timewave just happens to line up with the Mayan's 'time stopping' date is worth a look. many things point to that date, not just the Mayans and TM.
