I think if they can take you out of your head, then maybe psychedelic isnt the EXACT term, but it's close enough.
What about feel good tryps like 4-aco-dipt, or 5-meo-MIPT. Where the main point is tactile vs visual. Maybe we need more sub categories in TPE. Keep ODD to drugs that have NO psychedelic qualities, for lack of a better word.Quote:

PE is for Natural Psychedelics.
I have never done MDMA, I am VERY suspicious of it, honestly. But I do hear much report of it`s psychedelic properties.
DXM definitely is a psychadelic, but of a different nature, IME.
Neither are natural.
The main reason, I suppose, they are not permitted in PE is that they both CERTAINLY do have considerations of Physical dangers. As do other Phens and a host of other substances.
LSD even could certainly be argued as not a true `Natural`Hallucinogen either, but it does not produce any physical danger with general dosing, or even common overdoses. Unless you own the lab, It is virtually impossible to acquire enough LSD to kill you.
ODD is just a couple clicks down. Things are organized properly IMO.

Effects from Huffing Gas could be argued as Psychedelic.
Allowing discussion of it in PE would be irresponsible. The main consideration is member safety.
No one wants to see a young member come here looking for info on MJ, or Mushrooms and be blindly indoctrinated on the wonders of RC's, without warning of dangers. The long term effects, we have no Idea. PLUS, we do know that people have died of OD's from some.
IMO That stuff belongs in ODD where the substances discussed are potentially more dangerous, or simply out of the main focus of the site.
Just go to ODD, and discuss it there.

Perhaps the question should be would it be acceptable to create another forum for psychedelic RCs? I hate getting lumped in with all the meth, crack and heroin talk.
