Mushie identification, Melbourne.

Found these mushies in a park with the following vegetation: Manna gum, yellow box, common peppermint, swamp gum, black wattle, blackwood, sweet bursaria and swamp paper-bark. Native grasses and wildflowers such as kangaroo and wallaby grass.
About 10-15 mins east of CBD in Melbourne.
Yet to do spore sprint, and because this is my first time hunting, I am not too sure what they are. Any ideas?
Oh and the only reason they're pulled out is because I wasn't planning on going hunting and came across them.

I see, do you know if the habitat is a good sign, or ditch that place and look somewhere completely new?

Okay thanks for the ID CureCat.
Does anyone know if subs would grow in a similar environment?
Just asking before I go out and hunt some more today.

Look up Psilocybe subaeruginosa, (alternatively "p. subs") on the forums here and observe other peoples successful ID of these variety. They are the most likely shroom you'll find in Melbourne suburbs. I am finding them everywhere now that i can successfully identify them.
if you're in it for the trips. Just know what you're looking for, disregard anything else you find which doesn't match description. This is how i learned.

Funny. That is precisely the opposite approach I took to learning mushrooms. But whatever works for you.
