Saw maiden, rob halford and queensrhyce at irvine meadows when i lived in cali. I collected cans on the beach with my brother for months to pay for these tickets.
And durring maiden people were burning cardboard on the lawn and we all kinda pitted as best we could on the steep ass hill. I seen one fool totally eat it and roll into the barrier at the bottom of the hill. I almost passed out from smoke inhalation. Great show.

Went to San Antonio show, Maiden was good but San Anotonio concert go-ers are LAME. I could not believe everyone sat down and hardly anyone even sang - even to fear of the dark :o. I guess this is one thing Houston has over this area

Bruce psyched out the audience, or almost got boo'd off the stage and changed his mind when he started talking about how they weren't the kind of people who live in the past, so they would only be playing new material.... i think the remainder of the show was older stuff.
they have a shit ton of songs, had to stop listening to them when i tried gettin into them cause they have so many freaking albums.

they do have a TON of stuff, I think I have over 30 albums on my ipod. They are a great band, but I can't imagine listening to them while tripping hard, just not the right kind of music imo

it's wierd, if i'm not in the mood for maiden, i think they are a shitty band. Same with ozzy's solo work. If I'm not feelin it, i'm not feelin it.
i could trip at a maiden concert, but if i was putting on my own music, i would never consider it.
although, killers was a good song...
"Killer behind you, his blood lust defies all his needs."
i could rock that...

saw them a year or 2 ago during their 'blast from the past' or whatever tour. glad i got to catch that one, never been into their newer stuff much. was a great show...especially the encore (the clairvoyant and hallowed be thy name, if i recall correctly). they had some good energy considering they're nearly old men pretty crazy how young bruce still looks compared to the rest of the band heh.
dunno if i'd personally want to do any amount of shrooms at a maiden concert, but i could see it possibly being enjoyable. their music isn't all that abrasive, especially compared to other metal (and even electronica and other genres) bands. same goes for the fans. hell, i find metalheads to be a realively friendly bunch in general as long as you don't look like a wigger
