Graemlins
    #12741464 - 06/14/10 12:59 PM (13 years, 9 months ago)

Hey,
It would be stellar if the graemlins were searchable by keywords.

For example, if I had seen and wanted to use :derfase: I'd go searching for eyebrows, or raising eyebrows.  Nothing would come up, because it's derfase.

 has nothing to do with a tongue, nor stubborn...

This is just an idea to help users find the graemlins they're looking for.

Most graemlins have names that perfectly describe them, it would be pointless to add this feature which would only apply to those few graemlins whose names don't describe them well.

I'm sure he's aware of that, I think he just wants graemlins whose names don't describe them well to be categorized by keywords so they can be easier to find.

I'm sure Ythan will be happy to implement this just as soon as you go through all the graemlins and provide a list of keywords for each one.

I've brought this up before, and I'm not sure if it was acknowledged because it would be too exhaustive to implement or if there wasn't enough interest...

But there's a fuck-ton of emoticons, and the ones I use all the time have clogged my personal stash and even if I reset the list, they'd still show up there. There's a lot of them that I use only on occasion, but it's always a bitch to find them, trying to remember if it's an action or an animation, searching and searching, or even trying to find one that I saw someone else use and don't know the name....

But if you could pin them, if you had a toggle switch in the emoticons window next to each one that you could add it to your personal list, then you could manage your own list as you see fit and always know where they are. :headbang:

It's already storing a cookie of your most frequently-used emoticons, so if it'd be easy to implement a pinning system, it already has a basis for remembering the ones you chose....

Sounds good.
What's a mod get paid?

Or you could just contract the job to me.

Okay.  $120 initial estimate for the job then.

Take it or leave it.
