I believe the universe is teeming with life. Mostly "lower" space creatures with limited intelligence. in my mind it's extremely likely that creatures could have evolved to live in non-oxygen environments. Who's to say that that nebula over there couldn't house a colony of space bugs?

Insects are the most abundant life form on earth...So I think Insects would be a very good choice for not only other Biology on different planets, but also for E.T's. Insects are already super intelligent and uniquely designed, Imagine an Insect with the mental capacities of a human...
