Hi, so i've been colonizing a few jars and they all seem to be stuck at aboout 85-90% colonization. the only parts left are the tops of the jars and they havent seemed to make any progress. most of them are also pinning and have been colonizing for over a month the type is B+
any suggestions?

got any pics? the part that isn't colonizing may be the dry verm layer on top. it doesn't colonize, it's used as a filter to keep out contams. So you should be ready to birth & dunk and roll.

If they've been colonized for a month, birth the jars, wash any uncolonized parts off the cake under a faucet of running water, and then follow the dunk and roll tek. RR

Yeah, if they are pinning in the jars they are definitely ready to get out of there. Birth them and take some nice pics.

I can almost feel her touch and her anxious breath. I stumble in the hallway, outside her bedroom door. I hear her call out to me. I hear the fear in her voice. She pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door. I will be with her tonight.

I find that this happens when parts of the brf are too dense.
