From old school to brand new, your favorite punk rock bands and songs, post em'! Post up your favorite punk rock video from that place youtube can search for songs and videos or just type in favorite band or song, and or both, or all of the above. I will kick us off with The Vindictives: "Rocks in my Head" 1994 Lookout records.
One thing I dug about old school punk, is that if you were a band and your band did not have any thing to say, your records would not come with a lyric sheet. If you were a band and your record(s) did not come with a lyric sheet, then you were not punk. I miss "the day" before 1994.
Lyric sheet:
I get upset about being stuck here You can look all you want but you better not talk to me Because all I'll ever talk about are things you'd rather ignore.
I just expressed my deepest feelings to the prick who looked catatonic is screaming at me something that I've heard about a zillion times before.
Chorus:
Sometimes I feel like I guess I'm supposed to but I still kinda wish I could have been an abortion who ended up as fly food in a rotting garbage dump.
I'm working on a plan, I'm adjusting In a place where mostly every thing is disgusting and now you look so stupid when you look at me and say
Chorus: guitar solo Chorus:

Awesome thread! I don't listen to as much punk as I did when I was younger, now it's mostly folk-punk, but I still like it!

Hellz Yeah Tangich. Sham 69. Def one of my favorite punk bands of all time. That's what I am talking about. Here goes a few more tunes by a different band from the same section of the world, a few years later.

Ah, punk rock was my first great love [music-wise]... I think I especially like it because punks bands are just as shitty playing live as they sound on their records-- there is no inconsistency like most modern recording acts
Lately I've been really liking the folk punk sound too-- so that is what is reflecting here. It doesn't all have the hardcore sound of punk necessarily, but it still definitely has the spirit.
Antsy Pants-- Vampire
Paul Baribeau-- Ten Things
Cody Vann-- Nuclear for Christmas
Andrew Jackson Jihad-- Brave as a Noun/Survival Song
Against Me-- Untitled
This Bike is a Pipebomb-- Drunk Punk
The Taxpayers-- Militaristic Kitchen
Wingnut Dishwasher's Union-- Urine Speaks Louder than Words
Spoonboy-- Fireball or what I Learned from TV
Mischief Brew-- Thanks Basturds
The Moldy Peaches-- Who's Got the Crack?
Ghost Mice-- Up the Punks
Hope ya'll enjoy this sound-- I'll come back with some more traditional stuff later.

Already some awesome music in this thread! Really reminds me why I got into this genre! Ham, those early brittish bands are really the shit! Sham 69, cocksparrer, cockney rejects, UK subs, and many others... When I listen to punk today, it's mostly bands from that era. Anyway, here are some of my recent favorites
