Mushroom ID Request Please - Melbournes Eastern Suburbs
    #12580648 - 05/17/10 07:36 PM (3 years, 3 days ago)

Habitat:
Found them growing in Melbournes Eastern Suburubs underneath trees in very leafy/barky soil, wood chips scattered throughout the area

Gills:
The Gills are a Brownish colour they look as thought they are not attached to the stem

Stem:
The stem starts off near the gills as a creamy white colour but as it gets to the base you can see a red/orange colour, The stems are hollow, breaks apart with a margin of ease
Cap:
The cap is an orange/very light brown color

Spore print color:
The spores were a dusky black

Bruising:
The caps have some dark blue/black bruising on the edges, yet there is not visible bruising on the stems
