Grain LC to Grain LC

So I have a fully colonized grain jar and I want to make a grain lc out of it. I was thinking of using that LC and knocking up a few other small grain jars so I can have a bunch of lc. Would this be alright or is it gonna cause senescence to early?

Should be fine up to the third generation. Save your current jar as the master culture and use that to inoculate new jars and use those to inoculate a third generation but don't go past that.

I wasn't really planning on going beyond the second generation. I was thinking of just making a bunch of master jars and then taking those and making a buttload of lc. Thanks for the info:)

You can make a buttload of grain LC from one jar. One quart jar could probably do a hundred grain LC syringes if done properly. I'm not sure how well they store but if they are sterile and kept in the fridge I don't see why they wouldn't be good for a long time to come.
