One of my friends, who is in a band that I am going to open for, is currently doing a semester in Greece. He says it is awesome.

The third and fourth photos are in Thessalniki(sp). That place is is pretty but with 1 million+ people it is annoyingly crowded, crossing the street is nowhere near as easy as it is to do so in the states lol  , i almost got ran over *snicker* . We sat down to lunch there and every 6 minutes there was a black man all in your grill trying to sell you some shit.. so annoying.
The other photos are as Arden guessed from Metora, that area is soooo fuking saweet. I'll post some more photos in a day or two with a tad bit more info.

I did a summer study program in Thessaloniki (courses in English). I don't recall dealing with crowds, but I really loved walking the small streets and taking in all the locals and their daily business--it never felt like a touristy city at all. I was kind of disappointed with the prices though, both sleeping and eating can be expensive unless I wanted to eat gyros all damn day. And yea, I do recall the Africans who would try and sell pirated CDs and other cheap shit.

I visited Greece this last summer and recognize many of these places. A truly beautiful country with some really cool people. Definitely will be visiting again.
